    This is just the beginning. I'm sure that in the following years the numbers will grow bigger and bigger.

    it will give a hit on the wing for global casino's that are quietly accepting us players like some of the Rival brands..
    player would rather go for those official legalized brands to ensure confidence.

    These legalized online casinos in NJ, NV etc
    Do they have good affiliate programs?
    Maybe they thought they would do well without us?

    If memory serves me right, in New Jersey you need to obtain a license to be an affiliate (and its different types depending on the model they work on) and you can't promote offshore sites at the same time?

    Its a combination of what you said and;

    They want the money to stay in the US and not leak out so the bureaucracy to become affiliate if you are not US citizen is
    too clumsy and you are asked to provide all your private details to the US authorities.

    I could see dark days ahead for many players if US states continue to move towards licensing. Brands that currently accept US players are going to find their markets getting squeezed until (if all states license) they no longer have a functioning gimmick. Many of these brands have far from stellar reputations as it is, things will only get worse if the bottom line is hit.

    Your scenario is not so imaginary, time will tell I guess
