Default Online site logos common in Vegas casinos

Casino City's Vin Narayanan, Dan Igo and Aaron Todd have been in Vegas for the WSOP Main Event the last week or so (check CasinoCityTimes.com for all your coverage) and one of the things most noticeable at the tournament is the amount of players with sponsorships from online gambling sites like PokerStars and Full Tilt. The Las Vegas Sun looks at the issue in this article:

That's an interesting article. Seems that the actual casinos have no direct business deals with these online poker websites, such as PokerStars.net and FullTiltPoker.net. After all, I agree that they will not put their successful land-based names and reputation for just a financial gain from advertising these online gambling websites.

Articles like that really infuriate me.

I hate people who don't research before they state something as fact. Not just about online gaming, but about anything. People still don't realise that the UIGEA does not prohibit a person from gambling online..

Black-market online gambling companies have a considerable presence on the stage that is Las Vegas.

Yea Renee, I thought the same thing. People will read and believe. It's unfortunate that they misrepresent the details three places and a quote!
