That maybe true. However, not only in their false advertising BUT also letting affiliates think they're receiving xx-Commission percentage, yet actually paying a vastly reduced commission percentage, isn't exactly on the UP and UP, hey!Quote:

Those figures will be far worse because a bonus was not taken, and FYI, bonuses are deducted in full, even if a player loses it. In addition to that, they also have a Admin Fee (25% I believe). Which, as I've stated many times previously, these "Admin Fees" are a bogus deduction being levelled at affiliates, as a way to further increase the owner(s) revenue.
Olle, who seems to be Bitstarz mouth-piece, is a decent guy.
Thing is, if an employee is is told X, and they are led to believe X, then they will continue to defend X, at all costs.
These Admin Fees and deducting bonuses from GGR is a RORT. If bonuses are deducted in full then that makes them cash, not bonuses, and therefore NO slots should be on the bonus ban list... Can't have the cake and eat it too.
Problem is these bonuses are nothing more than Monopoly Money, until such time as the player meets wagering. At 40% wagering, I'm sure not too many people meet it. Hence, Bitstarz are deducting FAKE-CASH from your REAL commission earnings ;)
They are trustworthy from what I can see, however earnings are much less to compartive brands, typically around 7-8% of total deposit wheras other brands will be 25% so if you send hundreds of thousands you might make a couple of grand with them
not sure I agree on that, there is a % which goes to software providers along with a credit card fee which can be as high as 8-9% depending on the market, I understand we make a % on revenue ( after software and payment dfees removed) and this would seem fair, Some US brands do not have this though, The problem arises when they start adding onto the costs.. say another 25% to keep their office going then it becomes greed.. whittling commisions down to a near nothing like other brands do.Quote:

All those type of expenses are that of the operator, not the affiliate.
Do programs pay for affiliate business expenses? No... So we shouldn't have to pay for theirs.
The thing is with these bonuses, the water has become very murky.
Lets use Microgaming as an example... Back in the day, you'd get a deposit bonus. No matter what money you were playing with (bonus or deposit), with every $10 wagered (lose - win or draw) you earned loyalty points.
Back then a bonus actually DID cost the operator a % of that bonus, if wagering was not completed.
Thing is though, these days and using Bitstarz as an example, they are giving players Monopoly Money. You do not earn loyalty-points, bonus money is exactly that, fake-cash. You can not play all slot machines because when a bonus is active, certain slot machines are banned from play...
Just that in itself is highly questionable, given (last time I checked) slots are 100% luck, no skill attached.
Reiterating, unlike MGS where the bonus actually earned something, in this instance, it's worthless until wagering is met. It's Monopoly Money and should be treated as such. But to do so, seems to mean an operator can't pull a swifty and treat that Monopoly Money as REAL GGR deduction...
Frankly since VideoSlots .com started pulling dodgy deductions on their affiliates, the rest of the sheep followed suit.
Anyway, I don't work with programs who have Admin Fees or for that matter, pay less than their advertised commissions. If a player drops $1,000 (including a bonus but doesn't meet wagering) and loses, then I'm paid on that $1K loss, of which I earn $300. That's exactly how it has been since day dot, and how it should be now...
Unfortunately way too many operators are pulling GGR rorts, now. Worse, most affiliates wear these bogus deductions and say nothing, either because they know no better or are scared they'll be hammered for speaking out.

Many affiliates aren't even aware of all the tricks they use to distort and reduce commissions.
Audit your partner sites by having a trusted friend/family member/employee/whatever create a new account with your tracker, deposit a set amount of money, and lose it all. Then calculate what percentage you actually earned.... you might be surprised at how little it actually is!
Also, when bitching, it is good to be a large enough affiliate that you can tell the operator to go **** themselves if they try to pull something. Better still it is good to be a large enough affiliate that they fix the issue (though often it is only for you, and not for the masses, and you are expected not to disclose your private deals).
It's simple but really useful. Everything is correct you saidQuote:

For me, personally important is long term cooperation and I'm not interested in CPA, therefore I'm all the time struggling to find anything decent.
If your large enough, you'll usually be getting a listing fee to add them to your site. And when that's the case, programs will always be willing to work out a bespoke RevShare deal with you. I'm sure CasinoMeister is earning a genuine 40% or better from VideoSlots .com, unlike most other affiliates who get paid that scammy 5.5% or less. If he was being paid 5.5% they'd be dropped, quick smart.Quote:

We have been promoting Bitstarz for some time now and always had good results and excellent communication. Admin fees may be high but then are so many others. For us they deliver, no problem.
BitStarz has a very bad reputation among hardcore crypto gamblers actually. If you use search function on bitcointalk.org and look for their brand name, you will find a lot of information. That is also the reason why we refused to add them to our website.
