    Hi,

First of all, with these programs, you don't really own your own casino. They are fronts, and you promote them much the same as an affiliate program. Now, having said that I'll tell you what I know, and there will most likely be other members as well that will help.

Video Poker Classic/Gambling Federation- In my experience they are fair and honest. There are many webmasters here that do very well with this program. I promote them myself, but I don't have the front.

The other 2 I have heard a little about them, and at least one of them, I don't think was very good- But I don't want to get involved with that part of the question, as I don't know much about them. Be patient, other members will peek in and give advice.

If I were to make my choice of the three, Gambling Federation has my vote!

Gambling Fed has my vote too. Weekly payments, good support, thumbs up to them.

CasinoAffiliate is basically just a front for cybersportsbook software - do a search on World Gaming/Starnet for more info on them

Ive not come across ownacasino.co.uk before so I cant really comment on them. I guess they are not the same as owncasino.com who errm shall we say have a customizable backend which allows the owner to fiddle the players which in my opinion is not on

Default Gambling federation - thumbs up

Thanks for the positive on the gambling federation. It was quite easy to put up the front at my (underperforming) site - funlasvegas.com

We'll see how well the program works out for me there (now that I can promote it with some amount of confidence that it's not a total waste of time).

As to the casinoaffiliate.com front - I changed the dns for a domain I had been forwarding to one of my other sites to the free host site that casinoaffiliate.com gave me. I may be impataient, but the change does not seem to have propagated around the net very well as yet. Even though my only investment is the $7.95 domain cost, it's not worth the risk of anyone.

I think I'll dump the attempt there and find someplace/something else for my gameboylair.com name to promote.

If noone has heard of the other one yet I don't think I'll even think about it anymore. They didn't reply to my email anyway.

    Thanks.

I know somebody who has a front for casino affiliate/cybersportsbook

Unlike gambling federation, he had to have the site made, I don't think they offered him a premade site like gambling federation.

I used to do his site updates. He did get paid from what I heard, but it is just an affiliate thing with you responsible for your own website. They did supply creatives and scripts from what I have seen while maintaining the site. I myself don't like cybersportsbook. The other problem is that you don't get the email addresses of your players, when they register, it goes right over to casino affiliate. I created a form for him that the player had to fill out with their name and email address before they entered the registration area. It would then email the info to him so that he could put together an email list for his players. He wanted to be able to keep them up to date with the promos.

They may be good for sports betting, but their casino software is for the dogs.

I use both Gambling Federation and Casinoaffiliate.

In my experience fronts work very well. I agree with the comments about GF. Casino Affiliate had been working really well for me. I think I have something like 23% of visitors to my front site joining. The onyl problem with them is their backend is horrible and the stats are rediculously slow.

They have just switched over their system which has given me the joyous opportunity of redoing all the code in my sites. Their new templates are good but very difficult to update.

Give them a try and see what happens.

The name should resolve in 1-3 days of you changing the DNS. I have had a couple of instances of this not working, and I fixed it by forcing a re-propagation. You do this by changing the DNS pointers to a parking site, waiting 5 minutes and then change them back to the correct servers.

If this doesn't work, the problem is with your host.

Ironically as I made that last post I received an email from Jason at Casinoaffiliate. He is helping me update my template site and I am very appreciative. He also returns emails within a few hours at the max so assuming they can get they're stats system improved, these are pretty good guys to deal with.

    No harm in trying

Default I guess I'll give it another go

Again, thanks for the encouragement about Gambling Federation. I can promote it with confidence.

I'm also sure the DNS repropagation trick will come in handy sometime (usually just when you need it the most, it seems to take forever, or just won't cooperate - but, then again, I've had it work in 1 day).

I'll also retry the Casinoaffiliate hosting. The original documentation for changing the template codes was done well, I thought.

I too, got a long winded email about changes being undertaken (appreciated). It seems a good time to let things settle down a little before I try again. Maybe in a week or so.

    Thanks to all

    Hi

I use ownacasino.co.uk - they are OK.. they offer a very limited affiliate program, whereby they just allow you to go and get the 'fronts' once you've signed, unless of course you wish to pay extra.

I'd prefer a program of affiliate code linking I think! Overall they are good. I know that they do have a lot of sites...

I'm a new member by the way, nice to meet you all

    Hi there,

    Thanks

I really like gpwa's firm approach to spyware - it's great! Im an IT Engineer by trade and I spend at least a few hours a week lecturing my users on surfing the web and using software like AdAware and Search and Destroy!!

Good stuff - look forward to getting my membership approved!

    Thanks
