That is not true, a friend of mine got their site listed on DMOZ recently because it is a good site for visitors.
I do not agree with all DMOZ listed sites because some have too little content etc. but nobody is perfect nor is google and myself.
I presume you are an American site as you list at 19 on google.com.
Use this tool to see your placing on all the different google servers all over the world.
http://www.allno1.com/google_serp/mu...nk_checker.asp
you have to check the box under each list to check those countries SERPs.
By the way, i would suggest you need to do some social bookmarking to increase your profile LOL!

Hello,
In the netherlands your position is 37. At the end of page 3.
What about when you DO know who they are? When you can see that they have their own sites listed "multiple" times in the categories they edit? When you can see the sites of their closest pals listed in those categories? I suppose the editors and their pals sites are the best of the best .... right?
Certainly I have no doubt that there are editors at dmoz which take the job seriously and are unbiased - uninfluenced by the potential to profit, but in the gambling categories there is plenty of money to be made by a listing.
A listing in dmoz will result in a front page listing in google - multiple listings in dmoz will result in multiple listings in google. There are plenty of editors who are gaming the system and are getting rich doing so! These individuals know exactly what they are doing!
Categories which have listings which offer a potential to turn a profit are full of fraud!
Agreed, there are probably less than ethical editors. The difference between your comments and the one above is that you recognize that not all editors are corrupt. The poster above did not make that distinction.
No one is arguing that many of the listings are less than stellar either.

I see you in position 17 (page 2).
Just curious, how many visitors on average are you getting each day to onlinecasinoadmin.com?
bbonline (21 May 2010)
Thanks for the SERP info. On the average, we are receiving 75 visitors a day, based on Google Analytics and our office IP not included.
Anyone here from Canada? Kindly do a search on the keyword "online casino" (without the quotes) and please tell me the rank of www.onlinecasinoadmin.com . Our client is in Canada so I guess it is good to know how our site is ranked there. Please do a SERP both on www.google.com and www.google.ca for more comparison. I had taken note on the results supplied by thepokerkeep, and would like to have additional inputs.
I really appreciate all your help. Thanks everyone.
We have taken note of finding editors of DMOZ, and yet we find it a bit impossible in our side. We had also taken note of buying text links, and we are currently having a discussion about it. Do you have anything else to advise in order for our website to rank at the first page before June ends?
