Lightbulb PAL and GPWA Last Man Standing NFL Contest

To get this season kicked off with a bang, the GPWA is pleased to be working with PAL in their partnership with Sportsbook.com to bring affiliates one of the best promotions we have ever ran! We are hosting an NFL Survivior Tournament for affiliates that is FREE to enter! These types of "Last Man Standing Tournaments" are a blast! If you have never competed in a Survivor tournament....... you are in for a treat.

The rules are quite simple. Each affiliate who joins the pool chooses one NFL team each week. Picks are made "straight up", not using a point spread system. If your pick is correct, you survive until the next week. An incorrect pick eliminates you from the pool for the remainder of the season. The last man standing wins the Grand Prize. If you're still confused more info can be found here.

So what are the prizes you ask?
The winner is going to receive $3,000 cold hard cash! Yes, that's right, be the last man standing and you are walking away with $3,000 in your pocket courtesy of our friends at the Commission Account & Sportsbook.com affiliate program!

And if that's not enough, the affiliate department at Sportsbook.com is sponsoring a GPWA verus PAL Challenge as well! When you register use your GPWA forum name, and after that place in parentheses (GPWA). Members of the PAL forum will be registering with their PAL forum name followed by (PAL). If you win, not only will you get $3,000, you'll also win a $1,000 Freeroll exclusively for the community you are representing.

Here are all the details to get involved Ladies and Gentlemen.

Prize: Last man standing wins $3,000 cash and a $1,000 Freeroll for either PAL or GPWA

Registration: FREE - when registering please use your forum name with either (PAL) or (GPWA) after your name.

    To Join:. - Follow this link - Pool I.D. 7773 pass: sportsbook2009

You must register and make your first pick no later than the first NFL game on Thursday Sept. 10th.

I'm looking forward to some affiliate community spirit and a lot of fun with our friends over at PAL.

    Exclamation

The choice of "partner" is unfortunate.

Sportsbook.com group is pretty much a bottom tier operation, operating several targetted books out of Costa Rica - all of which have a reputation for stiffing players and confiscation of funds if the player starts winning.

They only survive due to the US attitude to online sports betting - forcing US players to search out minor operators - and falling into the clutches of unsavory but heavily pushed outfits.

A check on Sportsbookreview.com will confirm that they have not changed their ways. http://www.sportsbookreview.com/sbr/sportsbook.com/

I can't support ANYTHING to do with this crowd - or have ANYTHING to do with an activity that might encourage players or affiliates to beleive that this group are a good place to bet or do business with.

    Hey Gooner

Sorry that you feel that way, and I doubt I have any chance of changing your mind on this. Our history with SBR has never been good, and I have tried to resolve, but the financial compensation that they want makes it impossible.

Our survival is based on offering a great service, and making our players feel safe depositing with us. We in no way steal people's money and have been working in the industry for many many years. I believe it's been over 15 years, and plan to be for many more.

We are pleased to sponsor this event for all GPWA and PAL Members. For anyone who doesn't yet work with Commission Account, have a look, we'd be pleased to have you on board.

Cool! I'm IN and ready to WIN! On my way to sign up as GamTrak (GPWA)

I've been watching football on tv since age 12 and I love it. I'm a little rusty, due to the fact that hubby does not watch it so I don't take him through a day of torcher on Sundays or force him to watch his shows in another room, but I use to be able to pick a 7 team winner once in awhile back in the day. LOL

GO BRONCOS! Atleast I can hope right?

Insider info: Don't ever pick Detroit to win. Hey that may be the way to win this... pick the team playing the Lions each week.

Actually THAT is was what I did and may continue to do. Anyone playing Detroit should WIN so that is my current stragegy!

I'm saving my Denver (as they and Cincinnati are my long time favs) pick for a sure thing. LOL

I did have New England, on Monday night, but changed my mind as those Monday/Thursday games can go either way.

I agree with you Gooner...except I'll gladly take their money if I win I think they have a need to drum up new affiliates and new signups to backfill the winning players they boot...and that's putting it nicely.

    Real football my *$%*

Real Football originates from the UK is played with a round ball and is known as the beautiful game! It is played by 22 fit and strong men, not gawd knows how many daft beggars with 1980's fashionable shoulder pads and skate boarding helmets!

I am still playing in this thing tho and expect to be the first man sitting if thats the opposite of last man standing as i know diddly squat about this, shall we say, unusual game!

It's a hack that prevent folk from YELLING via caps in an entire post. I love that one because it works for thread titles as well.

The 'secret' is that you have to make some of the words initial capped. Mix it up and just YELL when it's necessary. lol

It's necessary to inform a few that the NFL is the only Real Football in existance.
