Other U.K. outlets are reporting the PartyPoker has pulled out of France as well. The French are definitely cracking down on advertising related to online gambling. Here's a thread on it.

There is a case going on between Ladbrokes and the Norwegian government at the moment. It's in an EU court ( cant remember wich) but a win to Ladbrokes will shake the rest of the EU. They are all to eager to advertise their own state run games, while on the other hand they claim to be state run to avoid problem gambling.
