Default Pat Chapdelaine (Giggles7p - Triple777s) Family Fund

It is with great sadness that I make this post.

Recently a good friend and valued member of a number of online forums Pat Chapdelaine (Giggles7p - Triple777s) passed away.

Pat was a member of many forums although she was quite a bit more active in some than others. Anyone that ever came in contact with her was always greeted by cheer and a sense of humor that was both fresh and uncompromised.

Pat's screen name "Giggles" came from her days as a truck driver. It was her CB handle. But it was also a great way to describe the joy she brought to people's lives and these forums.

She had a way of cheering people up. No matter how they felt prior to talking with her (or reading her posts) and rarely would anyone be able to read much of what she wrote without feeling better about their current situation.

She wrote poems for people on their birthdays. She always had a joke to cheer people up. And she was always able to laugh at herself.

She also loved being a member of this community.

"I just love everyone to death, I have such a great time here, laughing, flirting [one of my favorite things to do] lol, and learning," Pat once said about the GPWA. "It’s priceless the knowledge that comes out of this site, there are a few members here that I swear are at a genius level!"

Pat also loved animals. One of her dreams was to open her own animal rescue foundation. "I plan on doing this in the future, (opening) some kind of animal rescue," Pat once said. "My life is not complete if there are not animals included, all animals -- except spiders!"

What a lot of people didn't know about Pat was that she was constantly fighting her own battles with illness, but rarely did she ever let anyone know that she herself was having a bad time because she was always more concerned for others no matter what she felt like.

Sadly on the evening of October 20, 2011 it became too much and she went quietly in a hospital room surrounded by her close family.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years Gary, and by 3 children, two boys, Jamie and Branden Coneita and on girl Toni Cunningham.

The family did not have a public memorial service but instead had a private gathering at their neighborhood church.

A fund has been set up to help Pat's family. On top of their great loss, they have to cope with her final arrangements, as well as unpaid medical expenses and all with a loss of part of the household income. If we all come together and make a donation, we will make a huge difference in their life just when they need it most.

Thank you for the information. I can't put into words how sad I am for the family. Though I didn't know her well, she was trying to help me with my most recent issues. A wonderful woman indeed! My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I will do whatever I can to help on Friday.

That is sweet lol, I found it funny because I have been feeding four squirrels that now have a daily routine with me for about two months. I have to go to the lake to visit the raccoons, geese and deer. We used to be able to feed bison and elk deer out there but some a** shot one of the bison last year so they were moved back for protection.

    Hi Branden,

That was funny about the Racoon story. I also feed racoons and squirrels, and dozens of homeless cats. At one time I had 16 cats to care for.. LOL - I actually helped the mothers give birth since they were also kittens. That is something I always feel close to my heart the connection we both had to animals. I recall she once said we were crazy cat women and crazy cat man. LOL we certainly loved animals and i wish we spoke on the phone about it.

Whenever i think of animals now i will always remember Giggles - she was a true cat fanatic just like me - we were like splitting images of each other that way. I am sure the rest of my life I will have the chance to own many more cats and when i do - my next cat i will name Giggles in her honor and make sure she is looked after well....

Please stay on board from time to time and share with us some stories about growing up with your MOM and family. I would certainy like to know more about Pat in her early years.

    Take care.

Pat was one of the finest people I recently had the opportunity to do business with. This comes to a shock to me as she was full of life and absolutely loved to write articles on a daily basis. She was only 49 years young and just surprised by her recent passing. God bless her soul

I'm so shocked! Pat was always so full of life with her jokes and poems. Even though I don't post so often, without a doubt I check in and read the latest posts everyday. I enjoyed reading her posts, and if it was in "fun diversions" I knew it would be a good one.

My thoughts are with her family.

Sadly I never really got the chance to speak to Pat, although I remember thinking her posts always ironically made me giggle.

I've chipped in a personal contribution, it's not as much as I'd like but hopefully it helps her family.

Such sad news! Pat was one of our first moderators years ago when we started out in the biz, she use to have weekly chats on the forum that brought in so many people we had to upgrade to a paid chat rm(lol back then that was a lot of money!) Pat always had such nice things to say about everyone, and she always made sure to cheer those down up. You will be very missed Pat! Streak Gaming has made a donation and we plan to add the donation box to our forum as well so the members can help, I know they will want to help as much as they can.

    Default Just met her

My condolences, I had just met Pat a few months back when she did some work for us. Very enthusiastic, very lively person. She came across as a person full of life and cheerfulness. She will be missed and she made a great impression over the exchange of 7-8 emails with me. Pat may your resting place be as happy a place as you were a person in your life.

That sounds like my wife Georga she have been feeding squirrels, raccoons, birds, geese and any animal she sees and she has name for every one of them, she can’t do it on her own now that she is disabled but she gets me to do it. She has bread cut to small bites for the birds bigger for the raccoons and seeds for the squirrels. I made a donation to Pat’s fund I hope it will help her family.

Thanks for sharing Branden. We hope you will make an appearance from time to time. Hope the "collection" will help the family out. Having just lost my father a few months back I understand the expenses... it's like everyone has their hand out at times.

Be well and God Bless you and your family in this time of loss. We will all miss Pat.
