As Pennsylvania moves closer to agreeing on their new gambling bill it is unfortunate that the additional taxes of $200 million on top of the already $1.4 billion annual taxes go to “stitch together Pennsylvania’s deficit-riddled finances”.

On one hand governments will argue on moral grounds however when it comes to the wallet it’s not so bad. I feel these additional funds should be funneled back to social programs such as programs for the elderly, educational programs etc and not to solve government deficit issues.
