    Just to be fair, the Zarl.com online pharmacy program is actually;

    YourRxBiz.com

So what is the advantage to US joining through you?

You really didn't answer the question Mateo. What benefits do we have if we sign through you that we wouldn't have if we signed through yourrxbiz?? Do you offer more than they do or are you just a super affiliate?? Just curious to know.

I dont like this bit taken from YourRxBiz.com

Why is there a $199.00 fee to get started?
For individuals experienced in online marketing, we do not charge a fee for all the services we provide. If you are inexperienced in online marketing, we do charge $199.00. The reason for this is we incur considerable administration expense setting up new Affiliate Partners, and in our experience, that expense is 3-5 times greater when we are essentially teaching people how to market on the internet. While we are happy to help new Affiliate Partners realize the profits available through Internet marketing, the $199.00 - easily made up for in the first 2-3 sales - shows a commitment to marketing the site.
considerable admin expense in setting up new partners? They want to charge people money for the privelege of making them money - there are a bunch of good affiliate programs who charge nothing for registration why not stick to those "experienced" or not

I read that last week and made up my mind not to get involved at this time because of this.

    Sorry,

    I misunderstood the question.
I represent yourrxbiz. Zarl.com is the new site that showcases our programs, both mortgage and pharmacy.
You can sign up directly through yourrxbiz or I can get you in contact with one of our affiliate reps. The choice is yours, I am only promoting our services.

The $199 fee is primarily a qualifying fee. It is meant to weed out those who are not proficient in online marketing.
    This fee can be waived.

    Guys/gals,

You may want to go to xhttp://www.rxaffiliateforum.com and read up about the online pharmacy industry.
It is going through some major changes. Overture just emailed me this,

As you may know, the online pharmacy market has become increasingly complex, with numerous companies offering products and information directly to consumers. As a result, Overture is taking steps to better ensure that our pharmacy listings meet the highest standards of integrity and accountability. Doing so allows us to maintain our commitment to providing consumers, advertisers and distribution partners with the best online experience possible. Therefore, beginning November 14th, 2003, Overture will temporarily stop displaying select pharmacy-industry listings on all partner sites in our network.

To help our valued advertisers get their listings back online as quickly as possible, we are currently evaluating a third party program to help identify pharmacy advertisers that are appropriate for Overture's marketplace, as well as other potential solutions. We anticipate that we will have a solution in place no later than the first quarter of 2004. We will notify you again regarding next steps as soon as more information is available.

Please note that your affected listings will no longer be visible in the DirecTraffic Center®, however they will remain in Overture's systems so that they may be brought back online once your site has been approved to list within our pharmacy marketplace. In addition, no new listings for pharmacy terms will be accepted during this time.

We understand that this temporary disruption may impact your business. Please be assured that we are working quickly to put the necessary program in place that will help ensure the integrity of our pharmacy listings.

We value your business and appreciate your understanding as we implement this new policy.

    Sincerely,

    Your Partners at Overture

To bad, there is some serious money that can be made! I just started a couple of months ago, and it blows away my Casino sites for making $$$$.
This all started with the DEA closing down some Pharmacies in Davie FL a few weeks back.

    Default Overture

    Hello,

Overture has always had things with the OP's. Any one who has used their services has run into problems.

    Default industry underfire

Just like the gambling industry online... Rx Online is now underfire.
There's people working to change this and people working to clean up the OP business. (nabp.org and drugstore.com for starters)

It'll be interesting to see what pans out.

I promote an on-line drug co. and I recently received this email from them.

    >>>>>>>>

As some of you are already aware, the major pay per click search engine, Overture, has taken a harsh stand on the promotion of pharmaceutical drugs online.

Overture has and is in the process of removing any and all sites that promote purchasing, buying and or selling prescription drugs. One of the issues that was affecting the decision to remove listings was the xxxxx Drugs link on the exit console of all xxxxxx product sites. This link has been removed and we have had our team of technicians review all xxxxx pages to make sure that in no way is there even a reference to xxxxx Drugs. The issue has been resolved at our end.

Now, here are the issues that you need to be aware of as an affiliate. Before I continue I want to make clear that this is not an isolated case with xxxxx Drugs but with all Online Pharmacies. As an affiliate you must have NO link of any kind on ANY page to any pharmaceutical drug or company. Having spoken with Overture, it is clear to me that they are going over sites with a fine toothed comb to put it mildly. Example: URL A for search term A has no link to a pharmacy in any way but links to another page of yours that does, URL A will be removed. Overture is being very thorough with their reviews.

Overture has put in place a process that enables affiliates and pharmaceutical companies to promote these drugs, albeit a somewhat costly one.

Each affiliate must apply for a membership with the Squaretrade Licensed Pharmacy Program. ( https://www.squaretrade.com/sap/jsp/pharma_choose.jsp )

This applies to all affiliates who have websites that link to sites that are licensed pharmacies in the United States and Canada. There is a $200 non-refundable processing fee which will be charged upon application, and is not refunded even if your application is not approved. If you are approved, you will receive 3 free months of membership - after which there's a $50 monthly fee. You can cancel your membership at any time but you may not be able to continue to advertise prescription drugs on Overture.

The same process is mandatory for the pharmaceutical companies as well. The good news is that xxxxx Drugs is going through this process as I write this letter to you.

It can be slow however and Squaretrade has given no indication of how long the approval process can take. I must emphasize once again that ALL affiliates and companies have to go through this process. I would highly suggest waiting for xxxxxx Drugs to be approved before paying the $200 fee. We here at xxxxx will of course let you know the second xxxxx Drugs has been approved.

We will also continue to update all of you on information the minute it becomes available to us.

    In response to Andrew13's post:

    1. We have never condoned spamming in our program. If someone is reported to us as a spammer, we remove them from our affiliate program.

    2. Orders are shipping like there is no tomorrow. We have never been busier!

    3. Our pricing structure has been updated and commisions are the best in the biz!

I'm sorry if you did not make money with us, but we have plenty of affiliates who do.

We are still looking for affiliates, ICQ 269290668 or email me at mattm@zarl.com.

    Thanks,

    Matt

Our affiliates are happy and we have had more signups than ever before.

We are always available for affiliate support and we check rxaffiliateforum all the time. That forum is meant to be a place where affiliates can come and ask questions about any problems they may have. We always stay on top of it and get these problems sorted out. We have always prided ourselves in our affiliate support.

Again, signups to our program have never been better and our program is running smooth and orders are shipping out.
