    Default Philippines launches new gaming jurisdiction in Aurora

    A few weeks ago, the Philippines introduced a new gaming jurisdiction in the Aurora Pacific Economic Zone and Freeport Authority in the northeastern part of the country’s main island Luzon. It intends initially to focus on issuing online gaming licenses, said Victor Lazatin, president and chief executive of Pacific Seaboard Leisure and Entertainment Corp, the master licensor:

    “We thought of initially starting… with online gaming, because it’s easier to set up. And then later on we’ll go into land-based casinos,” said Lazatin

    The land based stuff is one thing and clearly of value - but i would have to wonder about the online advantage, because it's not really competitive with Curacao or better than First Cagayan! Still, the more options the better!!

    Yeah I agree, I'm not sure that they will be able to attract very much business over there without offering the world.
