If I had to pick one, I would go with Instagram because it is more popular.
However, it's easy to duplicate your content (with minor variations in formatting) and create content for both. Thus you'd also be driving traffic from Pinterest where it's much easier for people to follow links.
I also like Pinterest much more. It is much easier to get a link and real traffic from it. I even got it completely organic once - someone posted a link to my page from a site with slots and I noticed a noticeable increase in traffic and clicks. So yes, definitely Pinterest
When creating a social media marketing strategy, you don't have to choose between Instagram and Pinterest. Despite their external similarity, these networks perform different functions in promotion and are often aimed at different target audiences, which means that both are necessary in the overall strategy.
Agree. I wouldn't compare Pinterest and Instagram if we're talking about marketing strategy. They serve for different purposes although they have similar features (obviously, sharing media content). For communicating with your audience I would choose Instagram. For sharing specific "viral" media content like infographics I would use Pinterest.
My choice would defo be Instagram 100%
I would like to insert the meme "Why not both?" but if I have to choose one, it would definitely be Instagram.
I'd say Instagram for Interactions. Pinterest for more formal / organized and niche type content. It actually depends but now a days instagram is more popular.
I still don't get the Pinterest thing. Now, Instagram I get. lol
Do you still publish on Pinterest? What type of content works for you? Thanks
I find a lot of interesting ideas on Pinterest for organizing my home and more. I can spend a lot of time there.
I'm surprised to see so many say Pinterest. And here I thought Instagram was still the sh*t.
I like Pinterest
I'd go with Instagram. For me, it's all about the visual storytelling and the instant connection with the audience. It feels more interactive and lively compared to Pinterest, which I find better suited for collecting ideas than social interaction.
Instagram is definitely more popular now, Pinterest has its own special charm, but they are different.
Instagram all the way, as it's more popular and with a bit of consistency, accounts can grow nicely.
The important question is whether one of these platforms generates a significant amount of traffic, and ultimately generates a good income.
Nowadays, Instagram is difficult to rank on. Pinterest can also be useful for supporting SEO.
