    Default Player Deposits

    Hi Guys

Just wondering how many of you see that over the last few years, your depositors are mostly $20.00. I have no idea what or why we don't see depositors over $20.00, just seems strange to me or could it be that players just don't really spend as much - Which i dont believe considering all the acquisitions and expansion within the industry - Your thoughts?

There are still players depositing much more... Maybe you're catching mainstream users that have been brought in the recent years.

Wow, I finally posted to GPWA forums after more than a decade. So strange feeling.

Thanks guys for the replies, Maxfalcon can you expand on - catching mainstream users I'm not completely with you on that. I might be doing something wrong. Progger, that's exactly my thoughts as well, dump programs until i find one that produces results! I'm even hitting social platforms pretty hard and the results in terms of new players are fruitless, besides growing followers, its tough work in that segment of the market. We will keep at it for sure!

Just an Opinion I have but in most cases and in most casinos the Min First Deposit is $20 so my Educated guess would be most new players are happy to take a loss of 20 only to try a new casino product and if they don't like it then move on to the next option. if I was a gambler I wouldn't drop 100 on someone I didn't know?

The other thing is bonus hunters looking to see what they can generate from the offers casinos give if I can get 20 free and win 100 on a 20 Deposit great ?

Lastly Fraud? and Sydicates can get away with many 20 transactions before they are identified and caught rather than blasting big amounts that attract attention quickly this is an easy way to test if Stolen/Fake/Cloned cards are working without putting too much attention on themselves.

Just a few ideas hope that added some meat to your bones..

There are different kind of customers. There are people who try their luck occasionnally (just like with national lotteries), and there are are hardcore players, and in between all shades of grey.

Gambling and casinos has been brought in to casual players in the recent years with TV adverts and all. That's what I call mainstream users.

Hey Miles thanks for all the feedback - What this clearly tells me is look at the rouge countries or find the common denominators regarding what countries are not accepted by casinos and implement an IP blocker. Think I'd rather prefer quality traffic/players than over inflated stats and a crappy player base.

These players who are only depositing $20 now could become whales later. That's what the casino's retention team is for. Why would you want to risk losing that just because they are only depositing $20? You're still earning commission on the $20. The larger the player base you have the more chance you have of a few of them depositing more. My advice would be to not block those IPs. Unless they are definitely fraudsters. As someone mentioned, you should be able to get that info from your affiliate manager.

G'Day Renee You make a very good case with points really worth taking into consideration! I'm going to take your advice and trash the IP block idea and spend more time rather analyzing stats - cheers for that!

i think the same as renee, if 20 players deposit $20
    still there´s comission on it
but from those 20, if "10%" (2) back and deposit more is already extra.
however, i also think that depends on the content of the affiliate site, if "xpto" is visiting "xxx" website, bonus is 100% up to 1000
but in the text of the site says like "minimum deposit is only $10 or 20" or says like "if you deposit $30 you will play with $60, if you deposit $500 you start with 1000"
the 1pst part, (where is putted "if you deposit 30 you play with 60) is where the player will give more atention to and the 2nd where is bigger!, visitor will already be in the mind with the "minimum".

    times change, people changes
and i think that, acutally, people reads with more atention a "small part" of the content (the 1st part), and the rest they just "pass the eyes fast" throught it
but what stays in their mind is the "minimum"

100 x20€ Players are more worth than one 1x 3000€ Player.

i can agree to the post from renee, some players start like a shark and ends like a whale - years later.

    Regards

I agree guys - quality in players rather than volume, tricky balance to find i would imagine. I suppose that's what occupies this forum on a daily basis. Dare i post the question regarding Social media marketing and the success with paid marketing campaign's with the likes of Pinterest and Facebook?

    Hey mate,

welcome to the forum after all these years, good to see another aussie!

Good luck getting a facebook gambling ad approved. it can be done, but for how long? Once facebook find out it's a gambling site it's over.
