Default Player offered over £151,000 for their £1,000,000 HDA15 ticket!

One punter still live in the £1,000,000 HDA15 from the weekend is being offered over £151,000 for their ticket! So far they have resisted the temptation to use fractional Cash-In and retain 100% of their live ticket going into leg 13!

The punter, who played via Betfair, requires a Stoke win over Newcastle tonight to continue shooting for the £1,000,000 jackpot!

Check out their remaining selections below!

Two home favourites (probably 50-55%) and every option in the last game ... still a very brave man not to buy out.
IF Stoke win I guess that you'll double the buyout offer?

How many variations/lines did he take overall?

Take a look at the full ticket below!

Their total spend was £4,374 with £2 lines. Very much expect the offer to double if Stoke can get the job done against Newcastle!

Exciting stuff, best of luck to him and hopefully a lucky affiliate who referred him!

Very true TheBookiesOffer but that's why we offer players a chance to play for as little as 20p a line. The same bet would have been £437.40 if they played with 20p lines and they would be playing for a £100,000 jackpot instead of £1,000,000 (20p lines purchases 0.1 units as £2 purchases 1 unit in our pools).

Furthermore, players can play for as little as 20p for a single line and the cost of the ticket only increases with each line.

wasn't a dig at all, just an observation.

if he's got that much dough he should of already layed it off himself to lock in serious profits

I note that he took all 3 options in 7 matches ... 7 solid favourites ... and the draw in the North London derby.
I'm off to do the calculations ... that would have netted ... (space to be filled).

Now that Stoke win 1-0 he's waiting on one match.
Man City are solid favourites at home to AS Roma (priced best of 1.70 at Interwetten).

Interesting to see whether he cashes in part of the coupon now - or hedges in other ways - or just lets it ride

Ok - the punter has definitely played the over-round well ... attracted by the £1,000,000 guarantee.

I have a regular weekly spreadsheet that predicts games and calculates odds value and profits and so have historical odds for all these games.

Using the best prices, at the best bookmakers and assuming (incorrectly) that you could somehow combo all the best prices together you get combined odds of 145.01 for the eight results that he picked. With a £4374 stake at 145.01 odds you are only looking at a £634,285.54p payout for those 8 games. If you played at one bookmaker the total value might only have been around £500,000 at best.

The extra £366,000 to £500,000 comes from the guarantee minimum - as long as no-one else hits the same combination - showing the potential value offered in pool betting with these guarantees.

I note that there were only 26,646 tickets (approx £53,000 wagered?) so without the guarantee / pooled money from previous failed attempts to hit the £1,000,000 jackpot then this would have been a bad EV play.

This is like playing a powerball lottery when there is a lot of built-up money waiting - it is ACTUALLY a good EV play.

Spot on TheGooner! The only question that remains is: "Would you Cash-In any of the ticket?"
