    Default Please reveiw my site

    I am a long time player on online casinos, so i figured i would try to turn the tables a bit. Please visit my website at

    www.allmicrocasino.com

    It is a work in progress i am adding around 15 new casinos a night and i hope to hit 300+ with in 2 months or so. It is not complete yet. I am going to add a news area on the front page. And i am going to add a forum once i have more casinos up. But let me know what you think so far. I may have to tone it down a bit for the slower net connections.

    Thanks a bunch
    Chris

    Hey Chris

    I like the feel of the site, although it did take a little long download but worked nicely afterwards though.

    I would use your homepage a bit more and look at the seo factor of how it is set up - like add Grand Monaco to start, ahem "Newest Micro Casino!"...plenty people searching that for starters...

    Just a quick response - get in touch for a lot more suggestions

    Cheers

    Thumbs down

    To me your site lacks content. You have no information to offer what so ever to your visitors who become your potential players. Give content which will attract players to your website, not just a sales copy with banners and no content.

    The search engines won't rank you if you don't have content as well as your visitors won't stay if you don't give them a reason. Add some game rules, strategies, tips, etc.

    Looked on your view source for your keywords and title, no information, don't forget your keywords or you won't even come up for any search terms.

    Build your gambling website the right way and you will get your visitors converting to players.

    As i said i will be adding to the content, i know its lacking the site isent nearly complete. Right now my focus is on adding to my list of Casinos. But i will be adding News, Tips, and possibly a forum. I am not marketing it at all as of yet, because it isent finished. Thank you for your suggestions.

    I think what's been said already is valid but for me, the biggest concern was the size of the page.

    My screen resolution is 1024 x 768 and it still didn't nearly fit on screen. How about making the overall screen size smaller which would also improve your load times?

    I think you have the basis for a nice site there. With a few changes you'll be well on the road.

    Your site has a good design! So if you add content and other promotional materials I think it will be very nice.

    Add several promotional banners and short descriptions of the casinos. Add new promotions that you receive from affiliate programs!

    Screen size is way tp big!!! If I was surfing and came upon your site I would leave for just that reason.

    Is there a way to make it smaller without having to redesign the entire site. It fits in my screen but i have a large screen set with a fairly high screen res. What is the standard or optimal screen size most people use?

    I think you should use a % for the table width, for example 90% or 100%. It

    looks like your table is set to 800.

    In Firefox I have to scroll to the right, a lot, to read the content.

    I think Firefox interprets that 800 as 800%, possibly?

    Regards,
    Jason

    It works on my Firefox version. As I remember you had another design. Did you change it? I don't like the design of your site now. It looks simply. If you want to have more players you must have a professional design!

    Hi Chris,

    Checked out your site today, like the layout

    A couple of small issues hope you don't mind me pointing these out.

    The logo seems to be all crunched up. Couldn't locate the problem in your code, maybe it's a css issue.

    Meta tag data

    Both discription and keyword meta tags have no content.

    <META content="Your description goes here" name=description>
    <META content=your,keywords,goes,here name=keywords>
    title = All Micro Casino "All Microgaming All The Time"

    The main issue here is you have no meta discription or keywords, which you should look at fixing asap. Also the " " around "All Microgaming All The Time", to be honest I don't know how the SE's would take this, but, I'd be pulling it just in case.

    Also your style sheet link is above your title tag, I'd be shifting this to under your title tag.

    Internal css
    I always try to cut down on code, in this case you could add this to your style.css instead of having it in your code.

    EG:

    <STYLE type=text/css>
    <!--
    .style5 {color: #0D315E}
    .style2 {color: #FFFFFF}
    .style71 {font-family: Arial}
    .style75 {color: #FFFFFF; font-family: Arial; }
    .style82 {color: rgb(100,100,100)}
    -->
    </STYLE>
    Remove and place into your external style.css

    EG place this into your external style sheet:

    .style5 {color: #0D315E}
    .style2 {color: #FFFFFF}
    .style71 {font-family: Arial}
    .style75 {color: #FFFFFF; font-family: Arial; }
    .style82 {color: rgb(100,100,100)}

    Site logo
    I tend to make use of alt tags they're there to use and are another option to add further keywords. Just don't over do it and start keyword stuffing

    Comment tags
    These are used to tell you what goes where, however, you could always change these to keyword phrases, and simple assign each phrase used to what they really mean if you have to change the site layout later on. (eg online casinos = right colum.

    Simply change

    <!-- RIGHT COLUMN -->to <!-- online casinos -->or whatever keywords your using.

    Doing this is not going to get you penilised by the SE's. Again use common sense & don't go nuts and start keyword stuffing.

    Apart from those small things, which the meta tags are really important, I think you've done an excellent job

    Images, css, javascript ...blah...blah...blah
    For future reference you may like to consider placing your images (instead of logo.jpg sitting on root), place into a image folder the same can be done for your style sheet and javascripting too. Placing these files into their own folders makes life a lot easier as you have a systematic flow, it makes it a lot easier to locate files too. Most importantly if your hosting on Unix you can CHMOD files in folders that you don't want people accessing, this can also be done on a Win box too but don't ask me how, I'm a Unix guy

    Just some extra food for though.

    Cheers

    Dave

    I tend to agree that a site should look like nice and that everything has a nice asthetical appearence, should also be styled to suit the product your promoting.

    However, I don't see anything wrong with this site's overall design. It loaded quickly for me, the navigation is functional and easy to navigate too.

    Then again I've never been one who likes a million and one flashing banners; not in to lights camera action either.

    Though everyone has their own ideas and what is best...

    Cheers

    Website is loading quick even with slowest connections. I like the content organization, but as Dave said there are some things you should consider to change, for example the page title and the page names (ex. for blackjack page, write "blackjack" instead of bj).

    Thank you for all the new comments, i am still in the process of updating, and tweaking the small things. I like a nice clean look without banners all over the place. FYI i had my first depositing player last week!! how exciting!. Although i am not getting enough visitors daily only around 25 people per day. I need to increase this. As th site gets more and more updated i should beable to gain clients this way and keep them coming back. Any other advice on how to get my site name out their more please let me know.

    I think there are some coding problems........Center table border is touching the left navigation (here should be same margin as on left)

    Also Meta tags are not added

    meta name="description" content="Your description goes here"
    meta name="keywords" content="your,keywords,goes,here"
