Default Please review my site :)

    Hi guys,

Glad to have joined up and looking forward to learning alot.
I've started an affiliate site in my home country and I'd like some feedback on it. It's 2 months old and I'm adding and tweaking as I go along. There is no real competition other than a very poor site that has a good Google ranking. I'd like to put in a proper header image so I don't need any feedback on that for now.

Please let me know what you think

The reviews are nice and lengthy which is great. I would personally remove the website field from the "leave a reply" / "post a comment" section, otherwise your site will turn into a link farm and disappear from the serps.

    I've removed the field.
Do you like the overall field, design etc of the site?

The site design is good. It's clean and loads quickly.

One thing I noticed is that I really had to look to find some of the "Sign up" links. They're almost hidden. They need to be much more visible and easier to find.

Another thing I noticed is that not all of the links contain your affiliate ID. If a visitor clicked on xhttps://www.lmbookmaker.com/promotions for example and signed up and played, you'd miss out on whatever commission that player might've generated for you. I'd try to embed my affiliate ID into every sponsor's link that I post.

Other sports betting links don't seem to have any affiliate ID at all. I'm not sure if the links are cloaked or you're waiting for the affiliate applications to be approved, but that would be costing you money.

But overall, it's a great site. All the best with it !!

Thanks man, unfortunately 90℅ don't have affiliate programs so I'm going to be charging for above the fold placement once I get enough traffic. I'll work on making better CTAs too

    Wouhu first reply/post from me!

    1. Agree with Sweetbet; Place the bookakers who have affiliate in smaller tables/boxes under your main -banner and put some CTA on them - Would generate a lot more!

    2. IŽd love to see a logo instead of the long text.

    3. Main -banner I know.. you mentioned it.

    4. A few printscreens with ui/ux from the bookmakers would work great on the review pages.

    Thanks and good luck

    Thanks man,

Working on a logo and the main banner as we speak.
Will try to push more CTAs etc for affs and CPA books.

I'm not too keen on adding screens of the UI though, I want people to click through for that and South Africas are terrible clickers already I also feel it would break the flow of the review with a massive image, unless I put it at the bottom after the review?

I'm also doing all the work myself so learning as I go along, which has been great.

Did a few minor changes last night. Cleaned up the footer and made the main banner image clickable, linking back to the home page. Hopefully have a banner and logo sorted by next week.

Yeah I can imagine! I'm going to look into reducing it. It's the same size as the old one though. Maybe 75% but we'll see if I can figure out how to do it. Thanks for the feedback

    Nice Clean site.

Agree with the previous comments about getting your links embedded more frequently. Also, you might want to find that balance between promoting popular sites without aff programmes as sending them free traffic makes it harder for you to earn to reinvest in your site to get it to the levels where you can justifiably charge a tenancy fee for exposure.

I can't speak for other AM's but I've seen the frequency of tenancy deals seriously decrease in the last few years.

Have you considered linking the logos on your home page direct to the brands so that any visitors who have already made a decision can click straight through? Personally, as a viewer I would almost expect that; especially when I see the 'Read More' just below the logo which is where I would expect to be finding out more details.

Once you are comfortable I would also recommend you creating more multiple SITE IDs in your affiliate accounts so that you can differentiate better in your analysis. I haven't had time to go through all of your pages but on the SportingBet review page and noticed that of the 10 links on the page, they all have the same ID so you wont be able to tell if one one particular link or part of the page is over-performing or under-performing.

Good Luck, you've made a great start already!

Linking the images on the homepage is a great idea, never thought of that. Thanks.
The struggle is I don't rank well with bigger books but I rank very well with the smaller ones. 90℅ of my organic traffic comes through these so I'm happy to have them get a free ride until the other numbers increase.

Agree with the other points for tracking purposes etc, I'll work on those and more links soon.

My edge is there is no one with anything similar in my country and the books I've spoken to are willing to pay for places (2 currently are) I'll get some more work in this week and polish some links. Thanks for the feedback mate
