    Default Poker classified as a sport in Russia

    According to a Poker News report, Russia has classified poker as a sport. That may allow the game (sanctioned tournaments or poker rooms, I'm guessing) to be played outside of the designated gambling zones they're creating.

    Poker as a sport. This is good news. The US government should follow in the footsteps of Russia.
