Potential 21% UK Remote Gambling Tax On Sports

This was lost in the small print of last Wednesday's autumn statement, but there's an implication that remote gambling tax in the UK on sports betting could be brought in line with slots etc from 15% to 21% under a 'simplification' (read 'increase') to the tax rules.

Described as a hammer-blow to the racing, I expect that will be swiftly passed on to affiliates too should it happen so will also be a hammer blow to UK-facing affiliates.

Yeah I missed it to, clearly one of the 100 or so tweaks that were part of the statement's paperwork but not actually talked through verbally in the Commons.
