PPA hires Pappas
Since he mostly worked behind the scenes, you might not know the name John Pappas, but Buzzy's friends snooptodd and McLane39 talked to him pretty much every time they needed some information from the Poker Players Alliance.
Until a few weeks ago, John worked for Dittus, the PR firm that does work for the PPA. Well now he's been hired by the PPA as the Vice President for Government Relations in their DC office.

If he does as well in this position as he did for snooptodd and McLane39 at Dittus, the PPA will be very pleased with their newest full-time employee.

Anyone looking for info. from the PPA will be pleased when they speak with John. This is good news for an organization thats seems to be gaining traction.

Pappas is moving on up
Michael Bolcerek is out, John Pappas is in as Executive Director.

With the PPA moving its operations to DC (where they will have better contact with Congress), Bolcerek steps down and will stay in San Francisco. Pappas has a great deal of experience on the Capitol and will serve the PPA well in his new role.
