Prague or Budapest?

Hey all

In order to start the ball rolling here, I'm curious to know which event most people will be attending...

If you could only choose one (or are only choosing one), which would it be?

Obviously there are some upsides and downsides to both..

Prague - its not too far away.. it has the potential to be the biggest.. its in summer. maybe too close to the london conference.. maybe too close to the world cup..

Budapest - plenty of time for organising.. was apparently fantastic last year - got compared to the vegas conferences. its going to be freezing in october, maybe too close to prague/too close to christmas..

yadda yadda

So I need everyone to chime in here.. what are your plans?

I would be hoping to do both as well.

If it comes down to only being able to attend one I think that I will try get to Prague this year! Sounds like it is going to be a big one and is in the summer. Never been to Prague either.

Budapest was awesome and would definately go again, well worth while but to keep a balance if I can't make both it would definately be Prague.

And it doesn't necessarily have to be freezing cold in October in Budapest.

We are only doing Budapest ,my lovely Gabriella /Sipka Lives there so going to visit her for a week.

Yeh Budapest was awesome and was warm to, we we enjoying a beer in the sun at the front of the hotel each day and even the evenings were warm too.

Prague sounds good though, beer fest on at the same time!!! :joy:

Both here as well!

If being forced to choose an event it would probably be Budapest, feels the safest since it was so good last time, not as good as London was this time though.

Think the latest London conference was one of the best ones in a long time. Can not compare to a Vegas Conference since I have not been to any.

Prague I look forward to because it is a new place, and as soon as it is a new place the seasoned affiliates that have been to all the conferences plenty of times, start showing up again to try out the new place.

But as all above has said, it will be both!

Considering Prague over Budapest. May miss both though... 10th Anniversary is in June and might have to pop the bankroll for a trip to an island paradise or the Smokey Mountains. Not committed to anything yet.

It seems because of the date shift we cannot do Prague this summer, but definitely will be in Budapest, it is close LOL.:rockon:
Can't wait to meet you Judy again!

And HenrikGr, we need to get PAF rolling out on my sites by Budapest lol!

Prague.

Wouldn't mind going to budapest too, but these days i'm limited to one european trip each year and june is nice and warm (i hope).

Haha, it seems like a reasonable time limit :)

Then I get squeeze in my vacation to Costa Rica in between. 8-)

Hopefully both, but Prague is the no.1 for me because of the beer and the really nice city.

Renee, like me you will have to fly almost 24 hours to get to either Prague or Budapest, so I feel your pain!

Budapest last year was epic, but probably because of some well timed coincidences (wine festival across the river) and the buzz of exploring a new city with a new culture (and a language like no other!).

I would love to do both this year, but can probably only justify one and I'll be going to Prague.

Alex and the crew always put on a class show and with this one being billed as a Super Show, I hope the affiliates come out in droves and support it.

It would be nice to see some more Aussie and Kiwis at the European events, then I'm not the only one shouldering all the sheep jokes and rugby talk!

It's totally worth it though.. I dunno what Helene thinks having to sit next to me in the plane though.. I was pretty good on the way to London I think... 8-)

Considering there were what, 20,000 attendees to the IGE in London, and over 2000 to LAC, I have some high hopes for Prague. If it's anything like the two combined I think it's going to be awesome.. and it's going over 3 days this time instead of 2.. makes the trip much more worthwhile.

I never understood why Aussies get the sheep jokes.. I guess people don't understand that New Zealand is where all the sheep are.. ;)

And as for Rugby... I don't care much for it.. Unless Australia wins against the saffas of course.. which doesn't happen often.. But at least I can brag to my other half that we kicked their asses.. :joy:

Well.. as long as i have your 'special' meals under control and i have the alley to escape quickly just in case.. ;) i can't really complain lol

hehe... That's what happens when you are so far away from the rest of the world..
and I won't say anything about rugby, coz Nowfindadam could get angry at me just for being French..
