I agree with the last statement 100% regarding getting help.

I also agree that it was wrong for him to forge the email.

I think the mediation process was not handled in the "best" of ways. Here's why :

The OP made a claim that involved email, chat logs, and allegations that he had set limits on his account and cited a gambling problem - of which, he claimed the casino removed them. He went on to say that this occurred after hitting a big win, which he was being "slow paid". He also made the claim that he has no proof of these allegations he made but he cited a ballpark date when he claimed gambling problem.

At this point, a critical thinker would see that there is potential for both sides to lie or withhold relevant information - especially when one party has claimed he has no proof. What is to stop Club Gold Casino from producing chat logs that were incomplete or from failing to find an email? If the OP has only his word, why would the casino produce something that proves he was being truthful if such a thing actually exists?

From the opening bell, I claimed Playtech should be contacted, as they would surely have all records of chat and of changed settings. The OP claimed the Playtech rep who he had contact information for was on leave. I asked in this thread and a separate thread for someone to provide a good contact at Playtech. Yet, not a single person to the best of my knowledge replied to the contact request. If I were to take a wild guess, I'd say that there were at least one party who did not want Playtech involved.

From the open dialogue in this thread, Carmel shared that he provided chat logs from 5 June, which did not fit within the OP's stated timeline. Additionally, the OP stated that his version of the truth did not match Club Gold's version of the truth.

Again, at this time, Playtech should have been contacted, as the mention of chat conversations were brought up. Really, there's too much money involved to not bring Playtech into the mix. Both sides clearly have vested reason to try to appear as if they are right with one side having no evidence and the other side knowing such things.

Marko being (for lack of better terms) stupid in providing an altered email is in fact inexcusable. However, does his stupidity truly mean that Club Gold Casino did nothing wrong here? It may get them off on a technicality based on the "evidence" presented, but again - how do we know that ALL of the evidence was in fact presented? I for one cannot accept that they are held harmless on the stated allegations until Playtech has provided ALL chat logs and account settings and activity between the player and Club Gold Casino.

IF (and only if) that happens, I'd then be satisfied that Club Gold Casino did not wrong this particular player. I do say in fairness that I'd still have other concerns regarding them (terms that allow them to freeroll against players, licencing.regulatory issues) but in this specific case, that is what it would take to satisfy me.

There is no excuse for my behaviour regarding the email. I fully understand that.

I was told that I will need to provide proofs. I had deleted all the proofs because of my frustration, but I felt (and I still feel) that the casino did not treat me right. I had asked the casino to lock my account, because I wanted my big win to be cashed out. And the casino DID lock my account. Additionally, I had set monthly wagering limits (1 Euro per month) to prevent me from losing my funds. WHAT ELSE COULD I HAVE DONE TO GET MY MONEY? You will probably say: having stopped playing. That's right, but that is not as easy for an addicted gambler. And it is almost impossible, if monthly wagering limits can be removed within minutes.

I ask the question again, which I already posted several times: WHAT IS A MONTHLY WAGERING LIMIT GOOD FOR, IF IT CAN BE REMOVED WITHOUT APPLYING ANY COOLING-OFF PERIOD???

I will quit gambling. That is one lesson that I have definitely learnt! Now, after having uncovered all my cards, I would like Club Gold Casino to comment on the fact, that my monthly wagering limit was removed on May 19th (the very same day, when my account was unlocked). I still believe that Playtech might have records about my monthly wagering limits and maybe even about my commitment, that I have a gambling problem. Playtech should be able to do something, if a player tries everything to get a big win paid. If Playtech cannot provide proper tools for that, then online gambling is completely senseless.

As I said, there is no excuse for my recent behaviour, although I was somehow driven into this poor situation.

I'd like to be clear that the whole area of problem gambling and how it is handled is important from my perspective. My personal concerns transcend the specific issue raised in this thread, and also the specific online gaming site whose practices are questioned in this thread.

I will be attending the Europen iGaming Congress & Expo (EiG) the 8-10th of October, and as you would expect, Playtech is exhibiting there. In fact, they are the lead sponsor of the conference, and will have a significant presence there. So my plan to to find out the details about what there platform offers in terms of options and controls with respect to setting and resetting gambling limits and other areas related to problem gambling at the show if I do not find out sooner. And I do intend to understand how those options and settings were applied in this particular situation and to share my views here.

Marko6, I'd like to thank you for admitting what you did. And I would like you to know that I did make a deliberate decision not to ban you from the forum, even though some might argue that was justified, because I thought it was possible you might post further, and thought it was fair to let you respond to what I did say.

I hope others will learn from this that it is best to take a circumspect look at allegations that are made, and to not be so quick to jump to conclusions. There is a tendency to assume the worst, and to shout conclusions rather than asking probing questions, and that is really not fair or professional.

Certainly there is sometimes fire where there is smoke, but that is by no means always the case. It is far better to ask about the smoke in a professional fashion and then to ask further questions as appropriate than to declare that smoke means there is a fire, and the fire was caused by an arsonist, and the arsonist should be put in jail all in one giant leap.

I also supported this from the very beginning.

Actually I did reply to the request, however was unable to produce a contact.

I too am extremely interested in the 1euro limits that were placed on the account, and whether Playtech can verify this as this would help back the original claim.

Even if marko was off a little in his timeline, since the limits were allegedly in place for that many months, it is likley they were in place at least a portion of what he remembers to be the truth.

Marko, I too sincerely hope you seek professional help since as devastating as losing the big win was, please do not let your addiction cause you or your family further problems since it does have the potential to do so.

I am 100% sure that I did place monthly wagering limits (1 Euro each) on more than 20 dates between January 1st and the day in April, when my account was locked. I also am 100% sure that I had such a monthly wagering limit (1 Euro) on my account, when it was locked and when it was unlocked on May 19th. And I am also 100% sure that this limit was removed a few minutes after my account was unlocked. I then started playing and losing. I would not have been able to play, if the wagering limit had not been removed on that day. I tried very hard, but in the end I was a victim of useless limit tools.

Regarding my Casinomeister account: I do have access to it now, but it does not contain any proof for this issue.

I wish to thank Michael for not having banned me from this forum. I feel very desperate, but I do hope that the outcome of this issue will serve to help other players with a gambling problem. A major step would be the installment of irrevocable limit tools through the casino software providers. Playtech could do a good job doing this! A casino should not be able to remove a wagering limit within a few minutes, that had been set by the player to last for one month, even if the player changes his mind and asks the casino to remove the limit. As in my case, the player must have had a good reason having set that limit!

    Hello Marko,

if you are German, then we can call together and i will help you. Go to my website (roulettezeitung.com) and you can use the contact formular. I am independent and will never give anybody a muzzle or anything else like this, not even in the beginning. Never! I whish you all the best, but i fear, that at the end as it was everytime in the past, the money will win, and it's not your money, that will get the victory.

Don't accept "confidential" proofs. The truth is never confidential. The truth can only hurt with a muzzle and with destroying transparency. But it's still the truth. Club Gold Casino is working with this "confidential" pattern since a long time. All documents have to make public. Otherwise don't trust in any "official" words. From NOBODY!

I have to close now my posts for this casino. Not because i am afraid, because i can only write if i am really free to write.

Hello Italian Lady, we stay in contact because of Club Gold via Email.

YOU can, you MUST continue writing here. Your voice is important. If you have important things, then write it here as long as you can.

For our connection i will find a better way then Email.
Maby a hidden place, a "personal" miniatur forum for our information exchange. Then all information can be collected without any restrictions and we both must not study hundreds of Emails if we are searching for one or other.
I will sent you in the next days the url.

And then...at a special day we make all collected information public as FREE PEOPLE can do it.
e.G. in Newsgroups, because in this way there is absolutely no chance for Club Gold to censor the truth.

With newsgroup post many warnings about criminals and cheaters from Germany was made succesfully public and the victim count was going down.

At no time was there any attempt to "muzzle" or suppress any portion of this discussion from ANYONE involved, so everyone may disreguard any post that implies this since that is false.

Leopold is correct in that we all encorage you to continue to post HERE and there is no reason to be drawn away to post at any other forum.

And there is no way that Club Gold has available to them to suppress or censor anyone here, reguardless of anyone trying to imply they do.

Now please, let this thread get back on track with the real issue.

If you have a bank and a customer wants to take some money from his account to buy food and the bank manager say "No, you don't get your money and please leave the bank immediately. Your account is suspended and all money we take in our own pockets" then you have no other choice in the final step then go to the police.

But the police officer will ask you for the full name. If you have a real bank with real names, then this is no problem, and the investigation can start, the manager will be punished.

But what, if there is no name or only a fake name? Is it really allowed in a non-crime business like a casino to take customers money away but don't stand with the own name for this?

There is no right of privacy if money is the business and if many, many customers say: "Hello, here is going something wrong!". A manager has to stay with his name if he is doing strange things.

Because if not, then we can close all courts and police stations everywhere in the world. The mob reigns the world, and dark shapes can do what they want.

This is not the world, i want to live in.

I am always well informed, because if ordinary people will be cheated, then the fun is over and i take a closer look, for days, weeks or months. And i am not alone. If ordinary people stick togehter, then the top brass quickly be in a funk.

To open an online casino or a casino affiliate program is no complimentary ticket to make money at all cost.

To apply a moral standard for many people is self-evident, for some in the casino business, but not only in this business, unimaginably.

I repeat two questions from above and kindly ask the Club Gold Casino to answer them now:

    1) Was there a monthly wagering limit (1 Euro) on my account, when it was unlocked on May 19th?
    2) Was that limit removed on the very same day?

Marko6, normally records such as this are considered confidential personal information. Do you grant the casino permission to release whatever log information they have regarding your personal actions with respect to gambling limits set or changed by you and/or the casino to us, and for us to publicly share this information with others in the GPWA forum?

    Michael,
yes, I give the permission to release the information regarding my gambling limits (set and changed by me and/or the casino) to you and to others in the GPWA forum.

I had set a monthly wagering limit (1 Euro), before my account was locked. So that limit must have still been there, when my account was unlocked.

    Hello -shay-,

it's not the first time. And the answer ist simple: Google

    You want more?

    Approval posts before publishing.

Is this censorship or free writing?

    And final:

I received a full muzzle via PM.

Yes, i have received an "infraction at Gambling Portal Webmasters Association" for this posting: https://www.gpwa.org/forum/webmaster...tml#post732728

Did the person, which name i think i am not allowed to speak out, received an infraction for his accusations, he describes with "obscene, hateful and vulgar comments" without any quote or proof?

    What do you think?

Did the person, that in real and not in fiction insulted me again and again since months, did received an infraction?
I don't think so, because no 100 hours ago was the last day, a post from him was written and deleted.

    Why the double standards?
    Money.

And the post i received an infraction?

You see, nothing is more debunking then satire.

After i read the infraction my wife, she said, that the person, who wrote it, is not the person i thought he was and told good about him to her for months.
    Very disappointing.
    I don't understand him.
    She don't understand him.

But this is not a problem for long.
9 (in words nine) people from 4 different countries are working on the Club Gold Casino cases.
And all coming closer and closer to all facts.
Most working alone, in the moment...
And every single person is independent, fearless and have a good spirit.

This forum is not the right place for the truth, because biting in the hand of a Platinum paying sponsor is not so easy. It's a great pity.

And i am shure, more and more readers knows it.

Maby this is the reason, why in Germany so many forums for everything exist where the word "free speech" is no empty rhetoric.

(If you delete this post disappears in a pre-moderated and premonitoring process, i will post i at a place i am sure it will not be deleted but still read from casino affiliate webmasters. It's really sad, that i have to write this, but because of the actual happenings i am assailed by doubts.)

I was informed that I had indeed a monthly wagering limit on my account, but this limit can be adjusted anytime with immediate effect. From my today's perspective such a limit is useless. A limit is there to protect gamblers, BUT WHAT IS A MONTHLY WAGERING LIMIT GOOD FOR, IF IT CAN BE REMOVED BY THE CASINO STAFF WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT? Nobody has yet answered this main question.

The Playtech software removes a monthly limit only ONE MONTH AFTER that removal has been requested. That is how it should be! But: I had asked the Club Gold Casino by chat to remove the limits. And they did so IMMEDIATELY. That is what should not have happened. I had set the limits with the intention to protect myself from losing my big win. I had a very good reason setting that limit.

Club Gold Casino does offer setting wagering limits, but these limits do not work in a way to protect gamblers, what they SHOULD. That is why I still ask the casino to change its limit policy (because it is useless) and to refund my win.
