Default Promoting Black Market Sites + Google

Can the promotion of black market sites hurt Google rankings or result in delisting from Google?

E.g., suppose you had a website that was generating solid organic traffic. Could adding say Bovada ads to US customers impact Google traffic?

Very interesting subject you bring up and interesting to see the feedback.

I think there are a number of factors that could come in to play.

If the site theme and traffic are targeted for gaming or sports, then it seems it would be at least somewhat of a natural fit.

If the site theme is about blue widgets, adding sports betting or poker ads is not a very good fit.

As for whether google would treat the ads differently if the ad is targeted to US traffic or UK traffic, has more to do with the percentages of the demographics of the current traffic the site gets.

IMO, I do not think that google looks at bovada ads more negatively then bet365 ads. The text and surrounding information about such promotion could however affect it possibly.
