Default Publishers’ revenue could drop by 50% in 2020

I got this as spam. The article is not well written, but changes are coming. It will be crazy for affiliate industry as well.
So, what’s going to happen? As it seems now there are only 2 options:

    1. Google will allow users to opt-out from tracking cookies, they will not use their other assets to collect data and gain an anti-competitive advantage, and they will not use this step to gain more power in the future as part of some greater plan. In this case, there will be a small decrease in revenues for publishers from both groups.

    Result – good.

    1. Google will use this new policy in an unworthy manner. Publishers who does not work with Google will suffer a drastic drop in revenue in a short while. Publishers who work with Google will see the earnings gradually drop along the process.

    Result – bad.

So in other words, Google will NOT stop tracking users (even if they opt out) but they WILL attempt to reduce affiliate revenue for everyone else.

If a person does in fact "opt out" of tracking cookies etc, Google should not be allowed to earn from the click-through on their paid advertising since that is a form of tracking the visitor they have stated they are allowing the visitor to "opt out" of.

Google already started with shengenians, just it is not that much known, because Google=Chrome for now targets low quality websites. Various ad blocks by Google are applied. For the good of visitor of course. Those sites are - I believe - just Guinea pigs for G.

You are right it will never happen. Is there any way to fight back?
