Smile Purple Lounge Affiliates becomes Silver sponsor! Welcome them to the GPWA family!!!

Please give a warm welcome to Purple Lounge Affiliates!
We are pleased to welcome them to the GPWA community as a Silver sponsor!

    A little about the program:
Purple Lounge Affiliates represents Purple Lounge, a gaming site offering both casino and poker. There are a few things that stand out about Purple Lounge for me. They're a long-standing site and operated by a publicly-traded company (listed on the LSE) so there is an added level of accountability. They also have a major focus on VIP management, offering players membership in a well known independent high-lifestyle club (Quintessentially). The program offers a tiered 25%-40% commissions structure, with a promotional rev share of 50% for the first three months.

    Affiliate Program Management:
    >> Callie Dove, Poker Affiliate Manager - Callie goes by CalliePL in the forum. Her email is callie@purple-lounge.com.
    >> Tom Galanis, Casino Affiliate Manager - Tom's forum name is tomgalanis and he can be reached by email at tom@purple-lounge.com.

    Signing up or Additional Info
To sign up, just fill out the Purple Lounge Affiliates registration form here.

Or, for additional information about the program, visit the Purple Lounge Affiliates program review or the Purple Lounge Affiliates forum.

Interestingly enough, Purple Lounge joined GPWA the exact same day they were removed from the Casinomeister recommended list for implementation of unfair terms. My disagreements with Bailey aside, this was the right move.

    Ironic timing.

    So, anyway:

    http://www.purple-lounge.com/en/casi...ion=promotions

    13. Withdrawal requests made before the wagering requirements have been met will be rejected until such a time as the wagering requirements have been satisfied.

In the event that any withdrawal request is accepted before the wager requirement has been completed, the players bonus and any and all winnings to that date, will be forfeited.

Any exceptions to this rule are made at the sole discretion of Purple Lounge.
They recently implemented this rule on a player, zeroing out a 3K win because he hit the withdraw button early, by mistake.

This is unfair, particularly when, in the case in question, the software bonus counter told the player he could withdraw, while failing to take into account the fact that residents of his country had to wager more (go figure).

But bonus counter or no bonus counter, it's unacceptable to snaffle up a player's winnings in this circumstance. Just put the money back in his account and tell him to finish the wagering. Jeez.

Callie, if I can track down the player in question, would you look to revisiting this issue?

anyone who promotes Purple Lounge needs their head examined - this company is more than happy to break the law and give personal affiliate information to merchants when it's highly illegal to do so.

    Total scumbags.

I don't believe any of this!

The GPWA would not take "Sponsorship" money from a company that would do these types of things to their players and affiliates.

If Purple Lounge were really doing these things the GPWA would have found this stuff out in their due diligence that they did before they brought them in here to offer up to us affiliates.

I trust the GPWA's judgment in these matters!

Joking aside, I thought I knew who the player here was. Turned out I was wrong. It'd be useful to track him / her down.

    Hi,

I'm very interested in what these guys have to say on this matter, as I just posted their current promotions...it will be such a pity if I have to remove it!

    ROFL.

LOL @ trusting the GPWA's judgement - like they are omnipotent or something. Also lol @ trusting the judgement of anyone who takes money for a Listing..

FWIW If you don't do your homework and listen to other affils who tell you these horror stories, you must have other reasons for hanging out on GPWA.

It might be a tad premature to rag on the GPWA on this particular matter. They probably knew nothing about it.

Just sarcasm sweetheart...just trying to get the GPWA's attention here to the seriousness of their bumbling decision to take this programs money without doing any REAL due diligence on this outfit!

    Post GPWA Sponsorship

    Good Morning All,

I have to say a little peplexed at this thread - as you know I head up the Poker Affiliate Program and I have no idea about the Casino winners issue but, it goes without saying that I will investigate this for you ASAP.

I would like to point out that it was I who approached GPWA to enquire about a sponsorship. About 2 months ago, I felt that PL should be more active on communities such as this. For what it's worth, I also approached PAL, PAP et al - and we decided a while ago that GPWA would be the best place to start with first. I can tell you my decision to be part of GPWA had nothing to do with aforementioned casino issue.

Paul Jones, I literally have no idea what you are talking about, if you would like to explain to me what happened please do - no point making statements and not elaborating so I can't help out.

As I say, I'm looking into the Casino issue some of you have highlighed and will give more info when I know. I hope this helps and truly sorry for such a unexpected start on GPWA!

    Thanks,

Fair enough. However, I fully detailed the situation in my article. It's pretty cut & dried, and nobody actually disputes anything. The only thing missing for now is the actual player.

    Hi Paul

Can you please back up your statement or withdraw it please?

Having worked with Purple Lounge for the last 4 months, I can attest absolutely to the effort that these guys put into doing things the right way. I'm HIGHLY DOUBTFUL that Purple Lounge would ever do something like this.

    Caruso,

This is the first I'm hearing of the withdrawl issue and you can be sure PL are working to resolve this ASAP. Please give them time to look into the issue and get back to you.

    To all newcomers,

I highly recommend you wait and observe how PL handle these newly aired issues and reserve your judgement. I would not say these guys are classy if I did not mean it.
