Default Quick think affiliates witholding commission payment

I am an affiliate for slingo casino, last month a highroller deposited 32K with the casino which entitled me to a bonus of £7400+, i never received this payment and when i checked the stats found out that £7400+ had been written off as a bonus so no commission was being shown as outstanding. ( i was never notified of any problems). I queried this with quickthink and they said that there were concerns that the deposits may be charged back.

I have never had problems with this player at other casinos and have always been paid promptly, this player always deposits in excess of 20K

As payment processors for quickthink and slingo i hope you will look into this matter and let me and the forum know the situation

Noteworthy is that SERIOUSLY calls into question the ability of operators to manually manipulate the figures.

It show's how easy it is just to cut back a affiliates comm.. I actually have one now that works out 8-10% for every 1000 lost, comms are 40% though? "net rev yeah", crazy eh? so they will be getting dropped like a brick.. T&C's mention bonuses, right so monopoly money they give out now gets taken from comms even if they never cash out or win? mmm

Not sure about this program specifically, however when I've encountered potential chargebacks from other programs I'm sure that the player has simply been removed from the stats completely until the issue is resolved rather than some spurious attempt to balance the books with a bonus.

Could someone from IA could confirm how potential chargebacks are treated?

Its been 7 days since this thread was started and still no reply from Income Access. Exactly how long do sponsor programs have to answer questions?

Actually, this is not an IA issue. Quick Think Affiliates (QTA) is only using the IA software, they have their own mgmt team and are not GPWA sponsors.

The management team (at least one of them) are members of GPWA though.

Not had any luck with income access. They have not bothered to respond in anyway.

sent quickthink affilates a mail today asking for an update. I willpost the reply if i get one

"user name STEVEPAL - Time for an update
further to my affiliate commission in july that was written off as a bonus to avoid payment.
32k deposits were made in early july, i would have thought that enough time as passed to ascertain whether or not the deposits will be charged back. Yours is not the only casino that this player has played at and i have never had problems with other programs.
whats the current status and when is this matter likely to be resolved"

I feel a little guilty Steve as I am the one who told you to post a thread here and you seem to be chasing your tail.

That's not entirely the case. I started this thread a year ago and Income Access were very helpful behind the scenes. I didn't want to reveal the brand at the time so's not to create waves but it was Sky Bet Affiliate Hub and it was in the midst of their 5% bullshit so I was worried I wasn't going to be paid the full amount. Income Access looked into it and helped me get the full amount.

I was in a similar situation in 2012 when Totesport owed me a lot of money. I wasn't getting an answer from them so I made contact with Income Access and someone called Louis (I think that's how it was spelt, he isn't listed here any more) helped me out and made sure I was paid.

Even though I've never heard of this "Quick Think" group before, I can't imagine that the situation is any different to my situations in the past when Income Access were very helpful.

Had a response from affiliate manager at quickthink, pointed out that with income access software there is no other way to reverse potentially fraudulent transactions apart from manual adjustments. The fraud department think there is a very real possibility of chargeback so they will withold commission until chargeback period expires which is 6 months (arrrrrrrrrrgggh).

Ill let you know next year thanks guys for help and advice

I personally find that explanation and timeline unacceptable. Maybe they should move the money into escrow and have it automatically pay out directly to you unless certain (proven, documented, transparent) things happen.

Chargeback period is 120 day's unless it as Amex, even then there must of been some type of confirmation that cardholder is real, Emails, documentation, a lot of places will take chargebacks off but will never tell you if they won or reversed the chargeback, I have fought and won hundreds on a previous product I used to sell years ago.

Another affiliate, who is a friend of mine, was in a similar position. He had a high roller play big and loose big, but instead of quickthink sticking to their terms and conditions at the time, they decided to implement a brand new set of rules that stripped him from his huge payout, and instead left him with a measly few thousand of what he was entitled to.

The whole situation was ridiculous, they phoned him to apologies and refused to pay him what he was entitled too. Then implemented new rules... to his response:

'The second retrospective change to terms and conditions after adding a 'High Roller Clause' to avoid paying earnings that affiliates (including myself) were owed under your old terms. This is very bad for affiliates...why do you claim it is a good thing?'

Seems like these guys will make stuff up in order to not payout...

I contacted quickthink after 6 months , i did not get paid a penny and i was told that they had to close the players account so did not make any money from the player and the authorities were notified and thats all they were allowed to tell me. not exactly treated like a business partner was i.
