I agree. They never performed well for me over the years but I just left them as I simply didn't really have the time to do the research to look for others to replace them, but now it looks as though maybe their new design is working as you suggested......
From my side there is no harm in leaving them up if they make me a few bucks each month.
    Its better than nothing.

Anyone have any good programs to promote in the rummy niche? Thought I would give it a shot on a site facing the Indian market.

Default Online Rummy Real Money Game

Online rummyhas been a possibility for a long time, but the fact that the boom started in India might be slightly surprising to many people. I'm in the gaming affiliate business for some time and I promote Rummy brands but for enhancing the experience of playing.

I disagree that playing rummy online got it's major start in India, and in fact rummy and or spades were two of the card games that had quite a large following more then 20 years ago at such places such as Yahoo Games as well as a few other smaller providers.

I do agree that India is likely a decent market for them now, and I wonder if one of the reasons is due to the micro charges or that it seems more rummy targeted sites seem to target the Indian market?

Did a bit of searching recently and it seems the majority of the rummy programs I have run across recently are very much tied in to the Indian market.

So far most of the research shows many of the properties, either don't have a REAL affiliate program, or they pretty much just offer the standard fees as their normal "refer-a-friend" type cpa.

Many offer in the neighborhood of
    generate ₹500 for a cpa of ₹30

generate ₹10,000 for a cpa of ₹200 translates to
    generate $133.73 for a cpa of $2.67

I think I looked at a dozen or so sites, and have not completely pinned it down, but the vast majority could in fact just be white labels of an operator, but have not confirmed that.

There were a few that did appear more unique, but they also could just be a different design. (or they could all be different backends - not sure)

Only a single site had an actual form to fill out for more information about an affiliate program, and that form failed to submit LOL.

Maybe much of what I have found so far are sites strictly for the Indian market, and it could be they think refer-a-friend is the only thing of value when it comes to affiliation, (or someone has convinced them this is so as a matter of greater control)?

These are the sites I looked at recently
    Adda52 Rummy
    A23 (formerly Ace2Three)
    RummyCulture
    RummyCircle
    RummyCentral
    Junglee Rummy
    Rummytime
    SilkRummy
    Classic Rummy

Classic Rummy is the only one I am considering following up with at this point, although since the form failed I will not holding my breath.

I recently picked up a site that has a rummy theme, as well as having an older backgammon related site I have not done much with for years, so I wanted to research it a little.

While having some ads or reviews for the Indian targeted market might make sense if covering the niche, I would personally be more interested in sites or programs that also targeted other countries certainly.

If anyone knows of real affiliate programs for Rummy or other similar card games, backgammon etc, please let us know. While the market may not be huge or as profitable as other igaming sectors, it might be a niche that some may want to explore or test.

    Suggestions always welcome.

Wow thanks for sharing this Rick, this is something I have in my check list to do and never find the time for it Looks like you pretty much covered everything.. I wasn't able to find any Rummy affiliate program as well for a while now so I guess this vertical (along with Backgammon last time I checked) are no longer relevant for gambling affiliates

What surprises me is that a very small handful of people that promote the product speak of how good it is and how there are many choices, but not a single rep has provided me with contact details or links to affiliate programs or their terms proving they even have a marketable product, let alone anything worthwhile investigating.

If this ever changes I will certainly update other affiliates, that there is a sight possibility that progress can be made or might be worth testing.

Anyone with real contacts, please notify me for topics of such gaming sites such as:
    rummy
    general card games
    backgammon
or similar type card or dice games that might fit the market

Obviously, regular casino type gaming is not the target here, but a good opportunity possibly for those that have specific games that might sell well on such sites that that kind of content.

Not surprising.... about the Rummy product specifically, so far none of the operators was communicated seriously.. have you been able to actually become an affiliate of any of them and get a decent rev-share/hybrid deal?

About the "small handful of people that promoting the product.." I really don't know, this area is very wide and sometimes specific affiliate have specific traffic that fit well to the specific product so they are "doing great" with this product but it means nothing because sometimes it's few players that doing the revenue and 95% of the traffic doesn't do anything.. sometimes it's an old account that got many players already and most of the earnings in their account are historic..
IN other cases some affiliates get traffic from specific countries which is very good for the product while others don't have traffic from this country so conversion and value are close to 0... and so on..

So I wouldn't get too excited about what are other affiliates saying before understanding exactly what product? how many new players monthly? What geos?.. etc'.
