Default Recover wordpress Blog from Google Sandbox

I have one site related to casino, I have added some guest posts and home page link on the blog. One of our client's site got penalized and due to that Google hits my Blog as well and Blog got D-Indexed, Using my basic SEO knowledge, I have removed all the paid posts, links and anything that could be a reason for violation of Google Terms...After that I have added the site on Webmaster Tools and place Reconsideration request to Google and current status in Webmaster tool is that I have submitted the XML sitemap and It is showing 237 pages index of 275 Pages, Still my site is not getting cache and neither Re-Index.

What should I have to do now?

    Regards

    Mark

firstly you ain't helping yourself by submitting the same article to all those different catergories. You are just duplicating your content all over the shop. Edit each article so they are just in the most relevant one for starters

Remove and change the "Posted in", its absolutely spammy... And check your backlinks at http://www.backlinktest.com/ and you will see, what the problem is. You should remove at least 3 backlinks at every website. I also guess that you used a meta submitter for "fast backlinks", google for "playjackpots.co.uk" brings lowest quality results...

Good luck in trying to get it back. I dont know if it will ever be the same when you do get it back.

I had a site penalised by Google for no good reason (really). 12K uniques a day down to 1K.
Site got reindexed again 8 months later, but traffic returned to 4K a day. It just seemed like it was being held back.

    You might have better luck.

Thanks for your suggestions, I will do all the modifications as you have instructed, Just one more question remain in mind that I have used so many tags in each post is it OK or Spam....I am just using All in One SEO Plugin and SEO Yoast plugin and now I have disabled caching of unnecessary categors, archive and etc...

    Hello

Try Google Webmaster Tools to re-indexing and sending all of the pages and posts to Google but please remove all of the duplicated content on site first.

Have you considered moving the site to a subdomain and have the main domain redirect to it?

I just did this and already started seeing my site move up the SERPs for KY's that I haven't ranked since Penguin was released on April 24th.

The first thing that hit me when I looked at your site is all of the visible tags you are using. The spiders will be hitting them and bouncing all over the site and seeing loads of duplicate content (something similar to what thebookiesoffers said). I had a look at your code and see you are using Yoast SEO plugin... good step. In the plugin there is an option to noindex+follow tag and/or category pages, which is found at SEO >> Title & Metas >> Taxonomy. In your case it might be a good idea to select the option to noindex+follow tag pages as otherwise you are asking Google to index loads of tag pages, which at the moment are full of duplicate content and have no value to a searcher.

Or you can customize your category and tag pages with an image and 150-300 words of unique content. I have found that this works well for on-site SEO. Some of my category and tag pages now rank for keywords and help bring in traffic.

I think that would work with most blogs but if you check out the tag pages of this specific blog there are some articles with 40+ tags (and ofcourse that many corresponding tag pages or more), so IMHO there are too many tag pages. This is probably not valuable for a user and will also create too many pages with duplicate content to deal with. In this specific case I would think about trimming them down significantly to something more manageable... then think about next steps to deal with them such as adding value to the tag pages by adding unique content as you mention.

It could still be useful but probably not practical. What I did was find tags related to each category via keyword research but didn't go wild. I ended up with about 10 tags and I customized each page. It sort of goes with the silo design. I think having a large amount of tags isn't necessary and it is also difficult to maintain.

I like what you did here and think about 10 tag pages in total (not per article) is probably the sweet spot for this type of site.

    Hi Mark,

You do not have to do any extra thing... It may take some time to spped up the visit rates of Google bots by Google... You can only speed up the process by posting unique and rich content each and every day...

    All the best,
