If you mean you have a site that you plan to take down, and you want to move that content to a different site, yes you could do it.

I recommend you do some 301 redirects and keep the old domain up for a time to keep the redirects in place for a while.

If you had gained a number of incoming links, you should also possibly put a little time in attempts to get some of the links changed to the new domain.

Am I right in thinking that a 301 redirects the link juice also?

Also, once you have created the 301 redirects as Rick suggested, you should consider to inform google about it in the webmasters tool section.

All top advice above, you should do the following:

    1. Transfer the content entirely
    2. 301 redirect the domain to the new site. Try and do page for page relevant redirects as well, for example http://www.olddomain.co.uk/roulette should go to http://www.newdomain.co.uk/roulette.
    3. Inform Google through Webmaster tools and get a sitemap going on the new site.

If done right there is usually minimal issues, only small fluctuations. If done incorrectly you can mess up your whole site - be careful

It's worth pointing out, that you should definitely utilize the change of address tool in Google, so Google will factor in that the content has moved from one place to another!
