It seems that the end of the month brings out the spammers. Do other forums experience an increase in spam as the month draws to an end or is this just a figment of my imagination?

I was very proud the day I received my first "make money online" spam comment on my blog. That's when you know you're really a "someone".
Now I'm 3-4 someones a day.
I think that one reason is that it has been a couple of "website submitters" uploaded on a few well known BH places..
A few email scrapers hit the market too, so I guess it's time to start hide our emails harder

They seem to come in waves, I like the ones that actually try to stay on target with relevance to your site though.

I agree that spam has been on the increase, and personally, the "magic" spammer that I wrote about in a different thread although they have slowed down a bit, is still the single most active spammer that I see on a daily basis spamming me to a very long list of email accounts both gambling and non-gambling related.....
Since they are promoting a Top Game property I doubt anything will ever be done about them.
