    Default Rogers Bingo not paying

Has anyone had difficulty in getting paid by Rogers Bingo?

I promoted them for a few month, sent an invoice in July and I am still waiting to get paid. The affiliate manager has "escalated" my query every time I have gotten in touch regarding this but to no avail.

What is the general experience other affiliates have had with them?

Sad to say that we have not been paid for about 4 months now despite many attempts to resolve over skype and e-mail. Very poor show.

Thought I would elaborate a bit on my previous post now I have more time.

I have been told that the company (isis gaming) is being bought out. Here is a link to the news item:

    http://www.stockwatch.com/News/Item....l=WCI&region=C

The company making the purchase is called Wedona Capital Inc.

This company seems to be an investment company based in canada and the directors are:

    Michael Wilson
    Randy Clifford

    http://markets.ft.com/research/Marke...gs?s=WCI.P:CVE

I can't find contact details for these people apart from a canadian phone number.

We are owed a considerable sum and i'm considering making contact with the directors to make sure that they know the company (isis gaming) has outstanding debts.

    from Daniel

Hi Matthew. I have some good news finally. We have been cleared now to move forward and have set a date for closing of financing which will be August 31. So any time between now and then we will close and settle everything up with you. I'm so sorry for the delays and I really thank you so much for your patience.

Good luck with this one Matt. They (Rogers) have reached out several times to try to get listed with us. Never happened though, which seeing that they screwed you (temporarily or whatever), I'm glad that we never listed them.

I wonder how many other affiliates they have lost due to this thread, bad way to do business. It's about time operators realised that affiliates are not there to be paid "if and when operators feel like it". They seem to forget we have costs too.

Note to other operators out there, affiliate commission is part of your costs, not free traffic.

Glad its helped someone in making a decision on promoting them though.

Matt, I just read that press release you posted on stock watch. If I am reading correctly, it appears as if Isis is purchasing Wedona Capital, not the other way around. If this is the case, the money Isis has failed to pay you has been used in their purchase.

More accurately, the board of Isis seem to be coming out on top in terms of ownership after the "purchase".

i think its a little more complicated than that although I have no experience with stocks and shares.

I notice that Isis are making a huge loss at the moment. My understanding from Daniel and an e-mail that I think was sent to me by accident is that Wedona is an investment fund of some sort that sits on the stock market in order to float companies.

I won't pretend i understand the press release.

Since being made aware of this thread we've started chasing for payments - hopefully will be able to report back with some good news.
