Roxy is willing to open a dialogue with the affected affiliates, I view that as a reasonable move in the right direction.

I have to agree with Fiction on this, if they are only willing to re-open accounts for those that complain, and they continue with the same methods, affiliates will continue to be affected over and over and over and over....

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!

Roxy doesn't need any user names. They simply need to follow their own written terms and conditions.

Interestingly, all of these programs are officially located in infamous Villa Seminia 8. Coincidence?

My account was closed this month after 10 years of promoting Roxy.
Of course I still had players earning commission. That's why they closed the account, so they can keep the commissions.
If I was just sending traffic with no commissions due, I'm sure they would leave the account open in case I landed a player.

My last email from them included this gem:
"We will have to close the account Iím afraid.. You can always open a new one should you wish to send mobile traffic or launch any new sites in new markets."

Translation: We'll steal all these players, but feel free to open a new account to start us a new batch.

    No thanks.

After 10 years of promoting them, and tens of thousands of dollars in commissions, this is no way to treat a business partner.

    Many interesting points....

Instead of being willing to "discuss" the situation with affected affiliates, they should just WORK with affiliates. If they send players that make them money PAY THEM, if they don't send them players they have paid anything....

Affiliates do NOT cost the amount of money that the programs want us to believe, but the LACK OF AFFILIATES will.

As one of the affected affiliates, I had one more point to make.
Even if they are willing to undo this, and reinstate affiliate accounts, why would I want to send future traffic to a program that did this once before? Getting Roxy to agree to pay for lifetime players as they originally agreed with no future traffic is the only way this could help me. I'll never send them another click.

    I hate this sh&%.

Strange I think, is that my account hasn't been closed even though I haven't sent any new players recently.

The difference, I fear, might be that I only have one or two players with them in total.

Now I worry that if I deliver a suite of active players and then have a lull in new sign-ups my players will be "erased" too.

Time for me to re-think Roxy I guess.

It's been long enough. This isn't going to disappear and I'm not going to shut up.

Roxy are in breach of their own t&c. Roxy have attempted to steal from affiliates.

Are Roxy reversing the theft and account closures, without ANY further delay, or are they being booted from GPWA?

It should be noted that Roxy do not even bother implementing retroactive rules, as it is not even stated in their current terms that they are permitted to close accounts due to "activity". Players should be alerted about this as well. I don't think any punter would want to put money in any such company.

    Avoid!

It should also be noted that, just like Roxy and the others, Jackpot Factory / Brightshare is now registered in Villa Seminia 8. Need I say more?

Looks like this morning Roxy Affiliates have landed themselves in the rogue pit over at Affiliate Guard Dog.

Andy and the team there are to be applauded for taking this decisive action. The GPWA also needs to suspend Roxy's sponsorship of the forums here, until such time as there is an agreement between Roxy and their affiliates in place regarding moving forward.

I have also blacklisted the Roxy Affiliates Program over on OCR and spent much of the weekend removing their properties from my sites.

Alex is aware that we don't want Brightshare or Roxy being allowed to attend conferences. I won't attend a conference where they are pushing their scams
