Default Ruby Fortune: burying vital terms in obscure location. Unethical and "preditory".

Complaint chez my Best Buddy Bryan:

    http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/...-winnings.html

Summary: Ruby Fortune has a bonus terms page, linked from the bonus offer page. But a VITAL rule, that no cashout will be paid beyond six times the initial deposit amount, is located elsewhere, in the "general terms" page. Furthermore, on that page it's not even posted in the "bonus rules" section, it's in the "withdrawals" section! Following so far?

My my, is Ruby Fortune (Palace Group) ever keen to hide that term from the player. Whysoever, you may ask?

Well, you may ask if you're a tad dim. It's obvious enough: they don't want players to see it, because if they did, they'd get less deposits, and in not seeing it players will happily play away on high variance slots, usually losing, occasionally winning...then losing most of their cashout. Casino win-win.

I've done a write up for more detail:

Unethical scum. They should have no place at GPWA.

I'll look to see if there's a Palace Group sub forum, and cross post. Please don't delete this in the meantime, it deserves attention.

The player was paid with no explanation. Aside from him being 4K better off, there is no good in this. The casino keeps the predatory clause, and when they get caught out in public they exercise their "discretion" and pay. Anyone not posting a prominent complaint is robbed.

Not that I imagine anyone here is remotely bothered until they pull a stunt on your commissions. Without players you'd have no revenue. Might do worse than remember that once in a while.

No casino should have any terms like that and deserve to have warnings not to play there. Players deserve a chance to win and it is gambling afterall.

    They gave him the explanation:

I got a response that agreed the term was added after I had joined, deposited, played and attempted to be withdrawn, and it would be investigated. A short term later it was accepted and I was paid in full.

x6 cashout of the deposit is very low,

I suggest check with your friend how much he deposited totally with them in the past and
and if he made many nice deposits, he can tell them that he plans to go elsewhere.
they might NOT give him more than x6 but they WILL give he on his next deposit a special bonus or cashback etc.
i'm not affiliated with them in any way, this is from my experience with this rule. also he should ask them from what amount this rule
is not relvant, mostly from 250 deposits in many casino's this rule is not relevant.

If it is in writing in the terms it can be used against a player any time they want to use it.

So if you deposit 20 bucks, if they feel like using the rule your cashout "could" be limited to $120.00.

It doesn't really matter if the casino "usually" doesn't use the rule, or rarely uses the rule, or never have used the rule yet, or only uses the rule in extreme cases, if the rule exists it can be used any time THEY want to use it.
