Default SB Affiliates will no longer update affiliates?

Summary of Changes: SB Affiliates take out a term which says they must notify their affiliates of terms changes. Hopefully they only wanted to remove the email address.

Guard Dog's Reflections on the Impact for Affiliates: Very strange that they remove this term. We hope it was simply an oversight.

    Details:

    Warning:

8.1 Notices. All notices pertaining to this Agreement will be given by email as follows: to us at affiliates@sportingbet.com and, to you at address provided on the Affiliate Sign up Form.

See the original AGD Terms Alert.

They never updated affiliates of this:
4.3 We shall pay to you (the ''Affiliate Fees'') a commission, constituting a revenue share payment and/or a CPA payment, and save as otherwise agreed such commission shall be payable in accordance with the terms of the Affiliate Sign up Form and to be set out by us, and shall be payable for a period of 24 months from the date of first registration of each New Customer.

Indeed. "Guard Dog's Reflections on the Impact for Affiliates: Very strange that they remove this term. We hope it was simply an oversight." Seems it was intentional now! I'd say very very cheap move.

It is why nobody promotes them... that 24 month term has been there since at least 2009, BTW.

Uh uh, must be recent. I didn't see AGD mention that in their terms review

It's true... Here is my repost:

The 24 months term was not in the term on: 2009-02-25 02:06:23. It was on the term on: 2009-06-10 12:29:16.

I believe the reason for the 4 month delay in spidering was the moving of the terms page.. I fixed that leak awhile later, but do not recall the date it was fixed. Anyway, here is the terms alert (was a hefty one):

It's not opening . Well should they be now tagged as rogue, cause none of us ever got even a courtesy email explaining this... or since they have this term that they don't have to, protects them

We don't have them listed at AGD at all... will have to do so for purposes of ROGUING. Sorry.

The URL must have gotten cut off I'll try to repaste:

They closed their affiliate program completely years ago and robbed all affiliates totally. Then reopened after a gap of a couple of years and pretended it never happened. Then there is sportsbook.com, but that is another dubious story involving SBT. Always been dodgy.

Hmm maybe I caught that time when they reopened, and I had a betting account there as well. Didn't Ladbrokes want to buy them?

Yes, Ladrokes were the latest to be linked with them but something put them off, possibly other than the Turkish facing part of the business that SBT subsequently sold.

    Closed the program and reopened?

The players must still be playing.

Should be changed from sbaffiliates.com to bsaffiliates.com
