Just an FYI for anyone considering promoting SBAffiliates. Got this email from them today:

Dear affiliate,

We have recently been reviewing all affiliate activity and it has come to our attention that your account is no longer actively promoting Sportingbet and driving new players. As per our Terms & Conditions (found here: http://sbaffiliates.com/t/affiliate-terms.aspx ), clause 3.1 states the following:

3.1 Solely at your own cost and expense, you shall market to and refer potential Members to Our Website and you shall also promote the brand or brands of the Sportingbet Group on Your Website, promotions and marketing campaigns. You shall consistently provide us each month during the term of this Agreement with a number of Funded Sign-Up's, to be determined by us, acting reasonably.

Due to the fact that there have been no Funded Sign Ups tracked to your account since August 2012, we have taken the decision to close your affiliate account or remove the CZ merchant from your account. Please take this email as official notification and the closure will come in effect 20 days from now, as per our terms and conditions. All commissions will be paid up to and including this date but not thereafter.

It has been awhile for sure, since we sent them a depositor, but if they just emailed to ask for better exposure, I would be happy to consider.

UPDATE: Just got an email back from them noting that it was just sportingbet CZ that they would be closing.

However, I don't have much confidence in sending them any traffic to sportingbet UK, knowing that if we go through a dry spell, since they don't get a lot of space on our site, that any players I send will be removed...
