Default Sealand (yes, it's a country) opens online casino

Buzzy caught wind of this story when he got his weekly Online Casino City Times.

According to a press release, Sealand is launching an online casino.

Located six miles off the Eastern Shores of Great Britain, the world's smallest state operates under its own jurisdiction and is offering all players tax-free winnings from the casino.
Buzzy had never heard of Sealand, so he checked out the tiny nation's Web site, where you can see pictures of the country.

This is pretty interesting, actually ... wondering if they'll take US customers though.

Part of me thinks that the the "Royal Household" is just looking to make the place more attractive to potential buyers, though, as the third entry in the country's official blog suggests that the country could be for sale.

Thanks Buzzy for the info. I saw a documentary about Sealand on TV. Fascinating. They were kind of like squatters but now they have their own country with a flag and titles etc. The military was wishing they destroyed that base lol. They even fought off invaders and make their own currency. Wonder if players will be paid in "Sealand Dollars".

    Very interesting.

I wonder if they'll have an affiliate program?

Sealand Casino features over 300 games to choose from, including fifteen progressive jackpots currently rising to over 2m in value.
Powered by Microgaming, perhaps? Microgaming has over 300 games, and they have exactly 15 progressive jackpots. The current total value of the progressive pool is $4.93 million, or roughly 2.48 million.

    Hmmm.

Well I think we should all club together and buy the whole country. Wouldn't it be fantastic!!

Mind you, space might be a little limited for the parties.

I guess they will take US players. I mean, what can the US do to them? Sanctions aren't going to have much effect are they.

Maybe that means it's a white label... Doesn't Playshare do that? I thought I remembered them promoting as much.

I read about this a few years ago. Aren't they selling it for around 750 million Euros?

That has got to be the most expensive toy I've ever seen. lol

Here's the history of SeaLand. A great historical video.

    Default I think Sealand is...

    Awesome.

By far my favoritest country ever.

I mean, it's like the size of a football field.

I have a friend from college who would make a list of all the countries in the world when she was bored in class. She was usually pretty good about it -- only missing one or two when she would do it. It forced her to keep up with sovereignty fights, but notably she always included Sealand on her lists. (The embarassing part is that she was studying biology and still knew way more than me about geography even though I was always studying social sciences.)

Anyway, haha, that is my only Sealand story.

If the casino becomes profitable enough, anyone want to join me for an invasion?

are you sure you'd need any further help?
Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.
