A number of the security and techies are calling this bug a zero day exploit or attack vector so you may want to update your preferred browsers as soon as you see an update available.
I think it was some sort of buffer overflow.
Chrome has theirs out with expected patches from Brave/Opera/Edge and others almost immediately.
