According to a report on the Press of Atlantic City, an online gambler who voluntarily put his name on a state gambling ban list must forfeit more than $15,500 in online winnings.

The gambler, identified only as "ST," was ordered to forfeit the winnings because of failing to demand a hearing within a set time period . . . The gambler's gender was not included in the report. The state Division of Gaming Enforcement's self-exclusion list was created to help people struggling with gambling problems, allowing them to ban themselves from gambling in Atlantic City casinos and online. The gambler's winnings are currently being held by NYX Gaming Group, which provides online gambling through a partnership with Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City
