I put in a golf simulator in my out building back in January. Good timing to say the least. I work for a few hours, play a few hours of golf and work a few more hours.

    Yea Dave,

I saw that about Australia shipping the supplies to China, and I guess there is a movement growing rather quickly to stop it.
    https://www.smh.com.au/national/form...30-p54f8a.html

And Australia is not the only country that has been sending medical supplies.

And then China turns around and is offering this same aid back to other countries, giving themselves the appearance they are the ones saving the day.

And it is interesting the the WHO seem to be falling all over themselves for China, and republishing all the rhetoric directly from them.

I agree with Renee, in some areas, people are still refusing to listen to common sense and there are cities and countries which have been hit worse because of people not listening.

Take from the above liked article:

A February 16 memo that Mr Kuang issued via a community platform "calls for overseas Chinese in Australia to take action to contribute money, supplies and your kindness to your home country".
I don't want to offend anyone or seem uncaring BUT Australia, like other countries, accept Chinese immigrants. In most cases, our Governments provide these people access to an abundance of welfare and other services; including expensive (AU$200 - $300 p/hr) language interpretation services. After a period of time, most will receive citizenship. Meaning this is their HOME, now.

To read that article, and lets call it for what it is, a scam to rob Australia of resources, leaves me truly flabbergasted.

So they are moving germs from EVERYTHING they touch elsewhere, likely spreading because they are less careful what they touch thinking wearing gloves makes it ok. The amount of people I've wanted to punch in the face the last few weeks has skyrocketed.
It's not bad over here in South Aussie, most people are observing the directives, and laws, now in place. For those who can work from home, they are. I'm not seeing a huge spike in face masks wearers. I'm yet to see anyone wearing gloves, least not the general public. The police are being very vigilant. My office window looks out onto the street. It tends to be a somewhat busy thoroughfare early during the day, and would increase again around 3:30pm, when schools were out.

That traffic has reduced immensely over the last few weeks.

Aside from locals doing their daily walks; which now is only in two's. I don't see much foot traffic. If I have to drive to the supermarket, I may see a few people walking around the lakes (we have a few man-made lakes in our suburb), but again, social distancing is observed.

The other day was returning to the supermarket car park, where a young lady and my path intersected. She quickly appologised, and took a noticeable side step. So I can assume, least here in SA, the message is getting through.

Same... I'm already planning for all the international festivals I'll be going to next year considering they all got cancelled this year. And planning for a month back in Hawaii as soon as they are allowing people to come again.

They announced yesterday that golf courses would be reopened here. I suppose if you're playing in groups of 2 it's classed as exercise.

Yes, offering them back to us at 10x the price. Smart businessmen eh...

They can be put in jail for up to 5 years if they are caught doing it now.

It usually takes me 45 minutes to get to work in the morning... the last 2 weeks it has taken me 12 minutes. It's not even that quick during school holidays.

I haven't been outside properly for about 2 weeks so I'm not sure if people are still out and about here... but if i need to go to woolies to get something I see douchebags wearing gloves and masks and touching everything. Just gives me the shits. I was at woolies last week getting groceries and there were 2 people standing behind me with masks on.. well there are crosses marked on the floor where you should be standing, but they were literally standing on top of me. I had to tell them to move back. Then I saw in the same store, a guy and his wife wearing masks and he had his baby in a harness on his chest facing away from him... no mask.

I miss those days when my wife would go to work, and my kids would go to school, and it'd just be me and the dog at home
