About LinkBacksSen. Jon Kyl (R-AZ), a longtime online gambling opponent, will announce today he will not seek reelection in 2012. Kyl, along with Rep. Spencer Bauchus (R-AL), is one of the most vocal opponents to legalized and regulated online gambling in the United States.

It's official. Kyl announced in a press conference this afternoon that he is definitely not seeking re-election next year.

You're right. Rules must be set straight first, and what if we get another gambling opponent at the senate? Just an update, Kyl is the fifth senator up in 2012 to announce his retirement.I guess this is good news but new laws still need to be put in place

This is somewhat a good news for us, I may say. Although the fact that another person will be taking place again to oppose legalizing online gambling shouldn't be set aside.

I guess he better be off with the Senate as he is one of the online gambling opponent. Many online gambling operators would be glad to hear this news. Sen. Jon Kyl just did the right decision, having a quality time with his family and friends is the best thing he could ever do with his life than battling against online gambling.
