Seven GPWA Sponsor Programs Win 2013 iGB Awards

I'm very pleased to announce that seven GPWA sponsor affiliate programs took home a total of eight awards.

The judges have awarded this top honour to Bet365 because even though they have a great programme, they still continue to develop and improve year on year. They continue to focus on affiliate marketing as a major acquisition tool for the business and it shows it the quality of their programme . To compliment this they have a dedicated and driven team who are prioritise affiliates needs at all times no matter how big the affiliate is. Bet365 has without doubt created an affiliate program that is truly exceptional.

Affiliate Edge - Best Affiliate Manager – Casino - Martyn Beacon
All the judges felt that Martyn’s hard work and dedication, complimented by his friendly and helpful approach made him the rightful winner for this award. This industry veteran is recognised for getting affiliates the most out of their sites' traffic and also has one of the best senses of humour which makes building relationships with him very easy.

Affiliate REPUBLIK - Best Newcomer Affiliate Program
Affiliate Republik have made a huge impression in an incredibly short space of time. Some of the quotes from the judges about Affiliate Republik were: ‘if you're going to start a new brand in the right way, this is how to do it’ and ‘these guys are some of the most awesome people I met in the industry. They are new, but the future is bright for them.’ The judges noted their solid network run by ex affiliate specialists, along with their branding and marketing tools are second to none. The judges also complimented them on their website being honest and to the point.

Affiliates United - Best Affiliate Program – Casino
Affiliates United were selected by the judges as the winner for this award because they not only have some of the highest conversions in casino but also maximise the players value over and above other casino affiliate programs. In addition the judges were particularly impressed with their wide range of marketing material and promotional tools.

Income Access - Best iGaming Affiliate Network
Income Access is the only winner that has won their award every single year since the awards started in 2007. The judges were impressed how the network has once again improved and made particular note of the large range of brands as well as their excellent and clear reporting. They also recognised the affiliate management team who are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and focused on helping their affiliates to make more money.

NETELLER (Optimal Payments) - Best Affiliate Manager – Financial - Jennifer Ming
The judges felt that Jennifer deserved this award as a result of her passion for relationship management and concern for looking out for the needs of her affiliates. Her friendly approach and dedication in always trying to secure the highest financial rewards for her affiliates has secured her this award tonight.

Paddy Power - Best Affiliate Program – Sportsbook
The judges selected Paddy Power to receive this award due to them having not only an incredible affiliate program but also a brand which has excellent cross over branding and conversion. Paddy Power are a true reflection of Anthony and his team; straight forward, professional, kind and generous and this projects and shows in the programme. They have shown great innovation and growth over the last twelve months and are the only right winners for this category.

There are an awful lot of affy complaints here about AU that you can see in their forum. They are marked predatory at AGD. I noticed there is also a thread about it here.

Not sure how the voting works but this award is kind of discrediting the rest. If there is going to be a Best Affy Program they should at least be approved at Guard Dog. Just sayin.
