Default Share what you learnt at LAC

About 6 months ago a few affiliates mentioned that they weren't able to attend the events for various reasons and thought it would be useful if people could share the knowledge they picked up etc. and not just pic of parties etc. so I thought I would start this thread.... I will also paste the conference video links as and when we upload them

So first site I found with some good findings is here http://www.stateofsearch.com/london-...nference-2012/

When waiting for Ray from Boylesports by the massive toilet sign I realised that many men from outside the UK don't understand the female sign on the bog door means the toilets are for women only lol

I learned from Beacon that absolute vodka comes in different flavors and taste delicious with lemonade.
I live quite the sheltered life.

Nothing to do with me Alex I promise. I hit each and every one of those seminars, even the ones on at the same time. That's right. I was multi tasking.

I was in bed nice and early every night after walking past the bar seeing Rak and Rob boozing. All i did was shout 'try the flavoured vodka with lemonade'. Now I'm the bad influence?

Latest Video is now live http://www.igbaffiliate.com/resource...iate-licensing

Session Title: Nevada (and US?) Online Marketing Affiliate Licensing

Session Description: US online gambling laws took two big steps in late December 2011. The State of Nevada approved online poker regulations in a flexible framework, effective immediately and the USDOJ reversed its years-old assertion that the 1961 federal Wire Act applied to online poker. So, what do these changes mean for online poker affiliates with US player data assets to re-monetize? This session will cover both the regulations that were set out in December and those important areas not covered, as yet, by the regulations. The session also seeks to discuss and identify what barriers may exist or important business concerns an affiliate may face in gaining entry to the re-emerging US online poker market(s).
