    Default Sheldon Adelson is dead

I think what to post to not have it deleted.
I can not say I am sad.
We are all bloodsucking ticks, hungry, devious
each one latched on to the ass of the previous
when the last and the first latch on it can be shown
ass-blood sucked by the first from the last is his own

I am biased but Steve Ruddock had some great insight on the passing of Sheldon Adelson in my opinion:

If people in Europe complain about banking and why banks do not want to have anything to do with gambling and even affiliate marketing, then they can thank to this son of bumblebee.

When my private bankers closed my account 2 - 3 years ago they apologised a lot and came with a nice story. They said they have too little customers from my niche and that the US gambling lobby is pushing/blackmailing them through a threat being cut off from correspondent banks. Now nearly everyone has this problem.

I absolutely do not care how much this person gave to charity. He for sure gave much more to some other people. The only words of admiration can be that he lived his fascistic life in a way as he wanted. But that way of life was against most of people in gambling. He destroyed US market and made troubles to all gambling around the world and we have to live in that world even when he is finally dead. In other words the dire reality we see now is from substantial part his fault and intention. It is normal that big businesses bribe the politicians and try to keep their monopolist power. But there is no reason to thank them for that.

His anti-online gambling stance was sincere.
But the million dollar question is what was the essence of his "sincere anti-online gambling stance"?

I worked in Vegas when he and Wynn pretty much ran the place. Both of them believed that online gambling would reduce the number of people going to Vegas. It really wasn't a moral decision as much as a business decision. It worked because they gave money to Republicans and Harrahs' which opposed online gambling gave money to Democrats. It was a joke that the only sure winners on election night in Nevada were the Vegas casinos.

Looking forward to see what impact this will now have on the online industry. With this announcement along with the recent change of government in the US it may be interesting times ahead.
