I was curious as to how many webmasters are making a living solely promoting online casinos? Or is this just a part time gig for most?

June was the first full month that my website was up, and it looks like I profited about $80. I'm not too disappointed, since most of the time I put into building and promoting my site was done during our slow months at my paying job, and my only out of pocket expense was server space.

I'm currently redesigning my site because I believe my numbers could be higher, and I feel downloading my home page needs to be faster.

Also, which are the top producing affiliate programs that promote reputable casinos?

And let's say that I put my $80 into marketing. How would you spend it?

Any feedback or advice would be appreciated.

I can't really respond to your first question, because my portal has only been online for a little over a month as well.

Everyone seems to have a different opinion when it comes

down to what casinos are the best. I did alot of research

before picking the casinos to list on my web site. I'd

recommend ReferBack and Casino Coins. They seem to

be very popular and their casinos have a good reputation.

Check out this link at my site for a listing of what I consider

to be some of the top casino affiliate programs out there.

    Thanks for the input

I can relate to the ol peepers hurtin, I sit in front of a computer all day at my real job too.

I'm signed up with casino coins, but I wasn't promoting them until last week. And thats because I was unable to read the stats until they recently changed their interface.

Easy On, you're officially my idol for the rest of the week. there IS light at the end of the tunnel!

I've got 3 months under my belt and i'm still at the point where i spend A LOT of time working on my sites.

up to june, i've averaged about $150-250 profit a week. which means it's still a part time gig. this month is looking brighter.

my best earner by far is windows casino. many people are wary of them, but so far i haven't had a single problem with them.

after that comes the referback casinos, powerbet casino, and casino coins.

I'm not sure what the best forum for this would be, but Slycin, how about an anonymous poll on how much $$$ each portal averages per month? I think the results might be fairly encouraging to those of us who are fairly new.

    Cool Idea!!

I'll put it down in the private forums.

The problem is that all these numbers are relative to each other, i.e. - time on line, traffic figures, monthly income, etc.

All these numbers would be soooo much more helpful to us, if we could tie them in all together.

If we could figure out a way to set up a database on this, and still have it be anonymous, it would be great. But, I don't know diddly-crap about setting up DBs.

I'm a real numbers person myself, but I know we have a couple of accountants here, and also a couple of programmers. I could serve it from my server, if someone wanted to set it up?

P.S. - 'Tis done! In fact, I set up a special Forum for all our polls, so they don't get lost.
