SiGMA Group moves Europe summit to February

SiGMA Group announced today the postponement of its Europe summit, which was planned to be held in Malta on 17-19 November 2020. The show will now open its doors early next year in February, running from the 16-18th, making it the first event to headline the 2021 gaming calendar.

I see LAC is schedule Feb 3 - Feb 6 next year.

Will be interesting to see the situation in February, hopefully over the worst. Evens also seem to be too close together that might dilute the attendance at both.

ICE was postponed until april, isn't it? Guess LAC will go the same way then.

I'm sure I read in one of the press releases that LAC was being delayed as well.

its too close to LAC for me, cant take that much time off in a month to go to the events, and LAC is always my 1st choice

Yeah same. Till April. And if its at the excel I'm sure thats scheduled to be a hospital till atleast the end of march.

I believe so as well, I know that ​iGB Live and iGB Affiliate Amsterdam 2020 have been postponed. The events will now be taking place on 13 - 16 July 2021, they wrote it on their site. Not sure about LAC.. - 16 July 2021.

It's LAC we're wondering about rather than ICE.

Let's see if it will be possible to have events in February. And what will happen to ICE/LAC. Maybe they will also be postponed again.
We have been in this situation for some time now, in the beginning I was thinking I would be going to events by September again. Now every day I get closer to thinking it will be the end of next year or 2022 before there is a real life event again.

Me too. Actually, can't imagine any crowded indoor event during winter time. LAC + ICE with all those parties, dinners, shows, etc was a potential super spread event.

Things are only going to get far worse in the UK soon, when flu season kicks in and everyone is running to the hospitals thinking they are dying. Good luck with that Febuary bang in the middle. It simply isn't going to happen. Even if it does happen, it'll probably be a complete waste of anyones time and money.

It won't happen in February. Flu season will be panic this winter. I don't see any of these mass events happening during the winter. Also, some countries will still have restrictions, etc.
