I noticed some people that come to betting-forum.com probably from here put links directly in the post, I want to repeat that we allow only links in the signatures. Please don't spam.

There's some forums which put rel="nofollow" in every links on the signature. That's not good.

A great tool to check if your comments are NoFollow or not is "NoDoFollow" Its an add-on for firefox and with it you can check the links with a right-click. I use it all the time!

Would a good way to do that be like this?
xxx.myblog.com < being a site that lists all my sites, domains for sale and a few affil programs and the odd article. I use that in every forum I post in and rather than have 4 or 5 links in my sig just the one would google pick up the links to my sites? hope that makes sense

    Cheers,
    Will

No google will only pick up the link to xxx.myblog.xxx. Its a machine and will only see what is actually written!

I have heard that "no follows" mean nothing. I am starting to believe this..

I have used them and not used them and did not notice any change.

It's also a fact that even nofollow links show up on google, just put in your website name (http://,,,,,,,,,,,,) and you can see where it appears.

Default OK let's be clear on this:

I HATE FORUM Signatures... the way they are right now... manipulative and abused!

Please have a look at this site's backlinks:
    onlinexcasinos.com
(I intentionally didn't link to it because that's what's wrong with modern society and Google!!)
This site strangely ranks #40 for "online casinos" in the US Google results...

99% of the links leading to the site are either blog comment links r forum post sigature links...

this is the meanest way to manipulate Google...
It's also without anyregards of a visitor's needs. No visitor will go to a forum and look at signatures~! they will read the posts perhaps, but signarures are SEO ....

Anyway, there are lots of problems with Google's wayof looking at sites.. I hope this one gets corrected sometimes!
