Site Layout

We are not happy with our website layout. Whilst our webmaster is good with the technical stuff, he´s no designer. We need to make a few changes!

One thing we will add is photos to the different articles (front page)…………but we would like to ask anyone with an eye for their thoughts with regards to ……………………

Do you think we should make the centre of the front page in half ?, so we have articles parallel (side by side), or is it better to keep present format but reduce the lineage (so we can squeeze more on the front page). We will be having a lot more daily content, so we hope to squeeze it in on the front page.

Any ideas/fantasy ? Thanks

IMO you need to put something interesting on the front page, currently there is some snippets of text with no punctuation, and the size is pretty small compared to the white space, and your link colour matches the site color add more images this will keep the eyes trained longer.. currently looks medical.. or the other option is to mix up content with some sort of table... Hot picks.. Top games, results etc.. give something for your returning readers to hit the homepage..

What type of CMS are you using? I agree with Wonderpunter, place more images maybe down the right hand-side.
