Site name different with domain name

A question, is that any negative effect if my site name different with my domain name? Thanks for your advice.

I dont think so... Just realize many search engines give a lot of "credit" based on domain name... That's not tsay it cannot be overcome with proper planning and execution.

Domain names are hard to come by, just make sure it relates to your content and go with it.

In fact, if you have a catchy domain name, it has branding effects!

I have a site name that is different from my domain name. I can tell you from experience that what you name the pages really counts. Even so, my index ranks well for related key words. It can be done.

Domain name has it own ranking weightage in search engines algo's

for example:-

let me search "online casino" in google and see the results here:-
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...=online+casino

check some domains like www.intercasino.com which has "Casino" word bold in this, so it is true that domain name haveing value in search engine algo's

I don't understand....
However i think that the "bold" is just a facility that shows you the keyword you searched.

Actually this is my problem: I buy a script licence which included the domain, they don't allowed me to change the url: xhttp://neogeo-mail.com, even I don't like the domain.

I own few others good domains (I think) like xhttp://casinotrades.com, I would like to redirect the xhttp://casinotrades.com to xhttp://neogeo-mail.com and the site name I will change to Casino Trades instead of NeoGeo-Mail. Is this bring any negative effect?
