Just received my approval as a Private Member (ty! ) and in the note Nancy sent out she mentions having a site review done before we submit for a GPWA Seal.

Thanks Renee & Moneygamer! We're only a couple months out of the gate, so we have a ton of features and changes/enhancements we're working on implementing to make the network more useful for industry members and poker fans as well.

Obviously we wanted it to be familiar to those who've utilized Myspace and Facebook so there wouldn't be much of a learning curve to jump right in and use the site.

As far as the site, what more can we say about the FB of poker? You've an excellent site there, one to very proud of. Sorry in advance in my lack of activity but I am sure you can understand the demands on a website owner's time. I think you really hit it with the social network for players and professionals. Kudos!

Well, with our new tech partner on board we'll have some cool changes and features coming down the pike, so thanks for the compliments.

We've also been blessed with a really friendly and tight-nit community early-on that is making it easy for newcomers to get involved right away

They have a private member account here at GPWA, but we don't have that same designation at PokerNations, so not sure what you're referring too?

I love this site!

- Very clean design
- Great giveaways and prices to win
- Forum activity clearly shown
- (Semi?-)Professional poker players are part of it
- Videos, albums, blogs, events, ... it's all there

Here's how (imo) you could improve SEO:
- Lower meta keyworks from 12 to max 10
- Avoid font HTML tags and use CSS
- Make sure all your images have alt text
- I did not see a RSS Feed for the homepage activity

Thanks for the input. We're already working on PokerNations 2.0, being released in the first half of 2010. We want to add more features and enhance existing ones.

New tech director is going to move us to a customized platform for this purpose, pretty excited about the project
