Just read it, that's not good. Would like to see what happens with the likes of Oddschecker and Sportinglife who are related to them in one way or another.
Just got this too so now i have to remove all of these great !
Luckily we don't earn huge amounts from them but bit of a pain for those that do and there is the obvious fear that more will follow suit I guess. Half-true articles like the one in the Guardian at the weekend don't help matters.

Jeez. Thats the worst start to a week for me for quite some time....
Ah so the Skybet affiliate screw is completed. I did wonder what was happening with the stats as they went weird the last 2-3 days. They just don't want to know do they. First quotas then the final screw is turned by just closing the whole thing down. It's not a huge loss at this end.
I wish I had never promoted Sky. I feel sorry for those with big account bases, I am going to lose over 250 players, great, but not the end of the world.
Mid 6 figures a year hit for me. Looks like imma out of work now.
Are people concerned that others will follow suit? I certainly am but it might be the paranoia/fear from three days of drinking.

Without the support of its affiliates - how many are out there relentlessly pushing the football requestabet markets every day for starters? - the Sky Bet brand will shrivel and ultimately die unless they manage to flog it quickly. If anything it will prove to the industry that this is tantamount to shooting yourself in both feet for the sake of saving a few quid.
Going off 2017 revenue, Skybet was 0.0014% of my revenue.

You're lucky. It was 90% of mine

Yes very nasty indeed! Let's hope no one else follows suit. It makes no sense to not use affiliates

What grounds are you thinking of? If you're doing it, then so will I.
I'm just sitting here, trying to process it all and keep calm
Shocking. This certainly is a massive blow to many who have invested their time and energy into this partnership as a long term agreement.
Sorry to hear that it was a bigger deal for some of you lads. I assumed, as I did so crap with them, that it couldn't be such a big deal for others, but yeh mid-6 figures a year mate that is a huge loss. I know how I'd be feeling right now, so thoughts with you mate!
Breach of contract. When I signed up (2009 I think) they advertised lifetime revenue share. I'm not dead and neither are my players.
I have copies of their website at the time.
With small claims (such as I am using with LadbrokesCoral) it is easy and cheap to do. When the sums involved go over 10k, the case won't get allocated to the small claims track, it'l probably go to the fast track. The main difference being that you have to pay the other side's legal costs if you lose. Hence, need to have someone check the case for me before going ahead.
