Slider on homepage of casino review site a good idea?

What does everyone think about having a slider on the homepage below the header as the header image?

It won't slide unless you return to the website or you manually slide.

Maybe a triple slider.

Can't give an example as I don't have a website built yet.

Hard to say really without actually seeing it mate

for me unless you make something special, it's not worth it due to the fact that it's heavy. (although maybe it can be done in a good way that it won't slow things down).
